Okay, trying to decide what to do. My current AP expires Dec 6, 2014. I will be in WDW in Nov, but not in Dec. So, can I buy the PAP now, before the end of April, but activate it later on? Is there an 'activate by xxxx date' on it? I know that last big deal we got you had to activate by the end of that year. Just curious.

I believe you have to activate them in person and show your DVC member cards and ID's. But the good news is that you can match the confirmation number to MDE and FP+. I just bought some for our May trip and a future one!

Anyone know exactly what the AP pricing is in this deal? We bought them at the awesome $350 price they had going in Oct. 2012. I doubt they are doing that again!

I just posted in the other thread that the web site, if you go directly to order an Annual Pass and go to the DVC pricing page, shows the promotional price for the Premium AP, but doesn't list ANY restrictions as to when you need to activate it...and for that matter, can't find the Jan 31st date on the DVC site either now...hmm...

It's shown on the Membership Magic page (new main page).

New Annual Pass discounts available through April 30, 2014
Theme Park ticket discounts are the most-requested of all Member perks, and Disney Vacation Club is thrilled to deliver on that request with three Annual Pass discounts available for purchase starting February 6 through April 30, 2014.

Eligible passes include the Walt Disney World Premium Annual Pass (unlimited Park hopping at all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, two Water Parks, parking and no blockout dates), the Disneyland Resort Deluxe Annual Passport (315-day Park hopping at the two Disneyland Resort Theme Parks) and the Disney Premier Passport (unlimited Park hopping at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Theme Parks with parking, no blockout dates and more).

If you already have an Annual Pass that expires soon, here’s a little money-saving tip. Simply purchase your new discounted pass by April 30, 2014, and redeem when your current pass expires, anytime between now and Jan. 31, 2015.

Once you go to DVCMember.com, change 'All Topics' to 'Ticket & Tour Offers'. Click on 'Read More' for 'New Annual Pass discounts available through April 30, 2014'.

OK, that's hidden pretty well. If you go the page from the link under "Membership Magic on Select Annual Passes", which the "Learn More" link from the page you cite leads to, you won't find any mention of it. Nor through any other navigation source that isn't as hidden. They could get a lot of arguments out of that one...

But if you keep drilling down to the page where all the information about the promo PAP deal is listed (https://dvc.disney.go.com/members/member-extras/special-offers/WDW/annualpassadmissiondetailpage) the last paragraph reads:

Even if you've already purchased one, you can still take advantage of these limited-time savings. Purchase before April 30, 2014, and you can activate your new Pass or Passport when your old one expires.

There is no mention of the Jan 31, 2015 deadline to activate. I wonder if they have removed the restriction. This is an important detail and if the restriction is still in place, you would think they would list it on the "park admission detail page". If they have removed the activation deadline then I can take advantage of this promo so I hope this is a change and not an oversight.

I agree. All the easily visible links for this offer do not mention the activation deadline. The only text that does is the info that's hard to find. That suggests to me that they have changed the offer and just overlooked the buried text.

Edited to ask: I never read the info about this offer on the members' website before today. Was it always this way (no mention of the activation deadline on the details page) or has it changed since it was first posted?
