Thanks for all your advice and input, looks like there isn't as much there as i thought shopping wise. Think we may get a taxi over to the orlando outlets.

I totally misread this thread lol. Sorry.
If its shopping you are after I absolutely agree take a cab from DTD there are a ton waiting there at all times over to the Premium outlets (closest). There you can shop for hours, well I can anyway , and it should be under $10 in a cab depending on traffic. Its not far at all.

Yup, there's a proper taxi rank there with the normal yellow cabs, always seemed to be plenty there whenever I've noticed them - you'll be grand

Crossroads isn't what it used to be! The good places have shut down - Goodings used to be pricy but good but now it is dank and awful and publix by premium outlets a much better option. Restaurants have gone down market (some where already). lot of empty store fronts.

I second Panera bread - awesome sandwiches, soups etc and you can eat in or take away. free wifi too. it has become one of our favourites since our friend from New York introduced us to it.

Premium Outlets cheaper to get to by taxi but Prime Outlets worth a thought - Lynx bus probably goes to both.
