i have a few favorite places in the world--(1)WDW..i'm sure you all can understand this. i just love the atmosphere there. it's "where magic lives!!" lol!! plus there's so much to see and do it never gets old. i love it. (2)My bedroom...don't laugh, it's my sanctuary. it's peaceful and i can escape to it. i have my bed, my tv, my telephone, my dvd player, my stereo, and my diary; it has everything i need to vent or to have fun or to relax. (except the computer!!) plus it's a nice color and i have my johnny, potc, and derek posters!!!
and my shoes are in there. i love my shoes. (3)the kitchen...1 word: refrigerator. (4)the softball field...mainly during a game but during practices too. i love getting out there and playing the sport i love. on the field i feel in control of things whether i make a great play or make an error, i can control my actions. other things i can't control, but it;s all part of the game. i love being there with my teammates who i know will always support me and be there for me; we're like family when we're out on the field (off the field can be another story!) and when i'm playing softball i can forget about everything else on my mind and just focus on the game. it's a great stress reliever and a way to get out anger and just to have fun. i learn a lot playing the game, too. i don't mean i just learn about softball, but you learn about yourself and others and it's a good character builder (i know it sounds corny, but i'm sure you all can relate no matter what sport you play. right??
i know you all are rolling your eyes but i'm serious!!). also, when on the field, it's such a different perspective from watching a game. it's like being the center of things. i love it. so those are my 4 favorite places in the world.
as a pirate i honestly have no clue what my name would be. i was thinking about how jack just kept his name but jack sparrow is so much cooler than my name. my last name is italian--it's not at all piratical. and emily...it's just not menacing enough. i mean if you heard about the terrible Captain Emily would you be very afraid? didn't think so. i can't think of a good ship name either. i want it to be memorable but not a cliche or stereotypical pirate ship name. i was htinking about naming it after something i like but the "Yankee" or the "Derek Jeter" or the "Johnny Depp" aren't very menacing either. plus it's kind of like Forrest Gump-ish (naming a ship after the one you love) and not piratical. my personality would be just like my real self but a bit more daring--especially at sea. i wouldn't want a terrible reputation but i would want to be a law-breaking pirate. i think it would be fun. plus i've always wondered what my face would look like on one of those "Wanted" posters and how much money they would ask for my capture.

i haven't been around because of softball!!! it's so time consuming but so fun!!!
