I was wondering if you all could give me some info on the Cove Bar.

* Is it an appropriate place for the kids?
* Are the nachos awesome? How is the food?
* Would you recommend it?

Yes kids are welcomed just not sitting AT the bar. I've heard rave reviews and haven't had a chance to go yet. Hopefully our next trip.

I have eaten there A LOT! we always order the nachos, and another app to share. I really like the tri-tip sliders and the bbq chicken pizza. The food is good, and reasonably priced. The nachos get cold VERY FAST, but still very yummy and we always eat most of them. i would give the place a try, it's kind of hidden, so usually not too crowded.

Is the Cove Bar in DLR?

It is in DCA adjacent to Ariel's Grotto. The lobster nachos were yummy. I watched WOC from here once. Not the best view and they charge a cover, but it was a fun way to cap the evening there.

I love the Cove Bar and would definitely recommend it, and especially the lobster nachos. Delicious (and I am not normally a fan of lobster).

Thanks for the replies! I think we'll give it a try for lunch one day. My Mom was wondering about the sliders, so I'm happy to hear they are good. I'll make sure we don't go around WOC time. Thanks for that tip.

I love the Cove Bar and looking very forward to seeing what they have done with the renovations. The drinks are very good, the food is very good. I love the natchos, but have to agree they get cold quickly. However they are still good and there is enough to share with several people. I particularly like this place in the early evening. Nice way to wind down out on the patio.

Yes, just get a table, your kids will be more than welcome.

Lobster nachos are the only thing I've had there, once I tried them I couldn't make myself get anything else....they are amazing!!!!!

It's above AG actually, if you walk in the AG entrance and continue straight back you'll walk right into the CB.

Is the Cove Bar in DLR?

It's in Disney's California Adventure, down by Paradise pier. If you go over the bridge that takes you to California Screaming, you will see Ariels Grotto directly on the right hand side. When you go inside Ariels grotto's front door, make a left at the top of the stairs and you will see a door that takes you right out onto the patio. This is the Cove Bar. However it looks like there is a wheel chair ramp outside Ariels Grotto going into the Cove Bar. I dont remember that before. Maybe its part of their new reno's.
