The Countdown to 2013 - Join me! List Started!

YAY!!!! I look like a crazy to my non Disney loving friends when I bring up my 2013 trip to them. Alot of them even know that the dates are not available to book... so ... I want it to be known that I am going to Disney World in July 15th to the 21st I will be staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Please post that for me

Its my wife and my 30th anniversary so we decided to celebrate in WDW. We have been there at least a dozen times but not in ten years...teenage years seems to kill adventure. Hoping to stay at POFQ either the third or fourth week of October '13. I'll keep in touch here. Lets see...20 months and counting down.

I am just curious do most people make their reservation at 499 Day or do you wait till the packages come out? I am just wondering I know you have to pay more of a deposit if you do earlier. I guess I am so anxious to make it official I know Summertime is so busy and we really want to stay at Yacht Club so to wait or not to wait

DH and I decided that, in spite of taking the family in August 2012, we are going to return without the kids in February 2013 to celebrate our Anniversary! Right now, we know we want to stay the week of Feb. 10-16, but we haven't decided how many nights yet. Also, we know we want to stay at a Monorail resort, but we haven't decided between the CR, GF or Poly yet! It's going to be a very food-centered week, and I cannot wait!!!

I wait and book when the packages are released. I know we want a package. It is hard waiting.

I don't like that you can't just switch it and you have to rebook so I will probably just wait until the packages come out, unless they aren't out when it is time to make ADRs.

I was planning to go the first full week in January bit am going to push it off until later in January, I think that last week so it would be half Jan/half Feb. I like going when it is slow and the first full week would have us there during marathon weekend. So DD will celebrate her bday a couple weeks late, hopefully that isn't too taboo...

Other than that, just same old same old ... planning out days, picking restaurants, reading reviews, changing restaurants, figuring out which we would do if on DDP, what our favorites are in case we only do a couple (if we are paying OOP we will definitely eat off site most of the time, maybe spend some more time at Universal) planning where we would eat if we did QS... The fun stuff

Oh and of course the "I am definitely getting two connecting rooms at Pop" to "Definitely a cabin" to "Why not jsut go and pay a little extra and try a new room at AoA?" The zilliuon back and forths I go through until I can actually book room and ADRs/

Yes, it has slowed down here.

I am already questioning resorts. We would like to try POR I think but the only way we could afford it is if we get the free dining (we are going in Sept.). Do I book value and if free dining is offered upgrade at that point. Or do I go ahead and book POR and if we don't get a discount do we downgrade next spring early summer. Don't know which way would be best. We don't go expecting a discount so if nothing is offered we are perfectly happy at a value.
