Hey everybody... sorry I havn't been around lately, but i have been really busy with real life stuff... There has been some recent events that have put a damper on this trip...

It turns out that I lost my vacation time I had scheduled for this trip... I don't want to go into a ton of details, but there is nothing I can do to get it back... So with that being said, kinda hard to go on vacation without time off...

We have taken the last 2 days to grieve this trip... Thank God for Tracy and Bill They have been great through the whole thing...

We were supposed to make a huge announcement this week for a family trip next year... We decided to just focus our attention on that trip now...

Okay... We have had some more changes... A few weeks ago, I was told that my vacation time was no longer available and so I would not be able to take my vacation... Well, turns out they were half way right... The vacation time for that period got taken form a few people, but my time off was not classified as vacation time off... When I applied for the time off, I asked that it count towards my state mandated Furlough time off... Since this was Furlough time, they cannot take that away, it is set in stone...

I STILL HAVE MY TIME OFF!!!!

So what do we do now....

What else, except for book a new WDW vacation package for Toni's birthday!!

I made a phone call this morning after seeing that they now have released Free Dining for that time frame and made a new reservation....

Since we already have the airfare purchased, we will still be flying in November 28, but we will be staying at Pop Century now. We have upgraded to the Plus Dining option instead of the Quick Service and have a 10 day base ticket. We come home on December 7th.

We are very excited for this trip and are thrilled things worked out...

Now, as you all know, our original trip had plans to met up with Tracy and Bill, and both of our trips have ended up with a million changes... I was really hoping to meet up with them this year, and that was the worst part of having to cancel this before... Maybe we can somehow make our paths meet up again... Maybe if I think long and hard and make a birthday wish, we will be able to meet up again...

Let me try some magic so if my wish doesn't work, maybe this will...

Woohoo!!!!! If I see you around Pop I will say hi. With the free dining that came out yesterday I saved enough to pay off the rest of our trip plus get some money back. We are arriving the Nov 28 and leaving Dec 12.

Congrats about the savings and getting some money back, that is wonderful!

It is awesome. I owed $400 and I got almost $200 back on my card so the free dining saved me almost $600!!!! I am glad I made my dining ressies before free dining came out because I was able to get CRT (my dd requested to eat in the castle) in the am and LeCell in the evening.

That is awesome!!! We did 14 nights last year and loved it, Terry said he won't do less than 2 weeks when we have the kids with us... It was so nice to take our time and go at our own pace...

I hope we run into each other too. Are you going to have something identifying you as Dissers? I kept reading how people who go 10 days always say 14 days is nice. I was at 12 days and I said what the heck so I added the other 2 days.
