The Contempoary: How is it?

I'm going to be staying at the Contemporary again soon. Are the rooms nice?

In another matter, I have posted another of my infamous 'trip reports' titled "The Contemporary: Day One" but sadly it has been moved to Siberia where I never post. So if anyone's interested in reading the latest trip report you'll have to implore the mods to move it back here (where they've ALWAYS been) or go to the Trip Reports Board.

If the report fails to ruturn I'm sorry to say this will be the last installment of the Pirate's travels...Until the book comes out!

Good luck at CR. We just returned, a day EARLY, because the service was SO BAD and we were put in a room in Timbuktu in the north wing, even they were were only at 50% capacity. I will be posting a trip report soon, because I currrently trying to recall all the awful things (the list is loooong....)

If you are looking to pay for the upgrade for a larger room, then you will be happy. Other than that, the upgrade from a moderate for us was a COMPLETE waste of our hard earned money. The CR was totally lacking in customer service.

As I said, good luck and hope you have a better stay than we did....

We were at the CR last month and had a "complimentary upgrade" from the wings to the tower. It was most unexpected and appreciated.
Our stay there was very nice with great CM's and housekeepers.

It's seems that everyone has different experience's with all the resorts.
