Just thought I'd stop in to say HI

I've been super busy this weekend. Yesterday I made 7 dozen tamales which are a ton of work but soooo YUMMY!! Today I spent most of my time working on ebay which is what I do for extra money, I've got tons of inventory and sales have been down but I've got to move this stuff so I figured I would spend the weekend trying to get as much listed as I possibly can, hopefully sales will pick up a bit after Thanksgiving. Well I'm off to read through and try to catch up.

Hi guys. I've not been on for several days. My father passed away Friday. This, plus the fact that me and my DD have been sick has left me pretty bummed right now -- I haven't even watched the news since last Friday. I'll try to get caught up with you all but I am going out of town the rest of this week for work. Anyhow -- didn't want you to think I've abandoned you guys.

Hey everybody... just checking in and wishing every one well.

Guess what! I just registered yesterday for a continuing ed event in ORLANDO the first week of January. Leadership team features lots of creative types from Disney parks. The event includes a day in MK with some behind the scenes peeks, guided touring, and an emphasis on connecting with how Disney uses creativity (and how participants can use that in various settings).

I'm so psyched...
1) I get to formally connect my WDW geekdom with my job!
2) It's a business trip/expense!
3) The kids realy can't miss that week of school, but we may be able to work it so that DW can go with me.

I was able to go with DH this past June and did a Swan/Pop split stay. Half of the trip was paid for!

We put up our Christmas tree over the weekend.......yeah I know.....

No, the decorations aren't up outside or anything. My excuse? I am traveling a lot and need to do as much of this stuff before the holidays hit.

Even my parents looked at us funny........and then promptly asked for cocoa and gingerbread cookies.

It aint easy keeping up with the Griswolds.

I am so very sorry. My mom past away this past April so I know exactly what you are feeling. My prayers are very much with you.

Just have to post - I'm at Disney!!! We're having a great time. It's cool (67 for a high) clear and the crowds are light. This is awesome!

So sorry, agentpleakley. I lost my dad 11 years ago this week. November has been a little colder and little bleaker ever since. Prayers to you and yours.
