The computer ate our pictures (that's my story and I'm sticking to it)

I come to the Boards today, head bowed in shame (my technological dunce-cap fell off while I was bent over so I now hold it in my trembling hands). Even if there was an appropriate one. I'm too depressed to add a stickie here.
Long story, short - I erased the card on my digital camera while attempting to transfer the trip pictures to the computer. Severals pros have tried to retrieve them but the card was 'un-formatted' so they're gone for good.
Now that I've stopped beating myself up - well not exactly but at least I've put the whip down for the moment - I'm here to ask for your help.
Is there somewhere that I can purchase photos of the characters, shots of the various signs and spots of interest in the Universal parks and RPR?
I've tried a few searches myself but have come up empty-handed. I'd just like the regular 4x 6 ones to go into an album.
I'd appreciate any sugestions at all.

OH! That's terrible! The hard drive on our laptop crashed in 2005. We were uploading photos each evening to the laptop and we were formatting the memory cards. We were able to retrieve the photos from the hard drive and some from the memory cards. We used some software that we bought on-line, but it sounds like you have seeked professional help and they said that you couldn't get them. You might try a program called Recover My Photos before you give up. It works miracles on memory cards. If the card has been formatted and not written over, you can recover the photos.

I'm going to work now, and if you are still unable to get your photos, send me a PM. When I get time, I will put some of my photos in photobucket and send you an invititation to view the album. You can use any of the photos that I put in the album.

that is so horrible. i know the feeling. i was working on a novel and my wife crashed my hard drive and corrupted windows and i lost everything. send me a pm or list here on this thread what spots at US/IoA you want. i am going for two weeks in mid june and will love to take pix for you.
