"The Color Purple" and Oprah

Who saw yesterday's Oprah show and saw the cast perform some of the new musical?

I LOVE this movie and so excited that it's a musical now. It opens December 1st @ the Broadway Theatre.

I hope it's still running in the spring because I cannot get to NYC anytime before that, I can't wait to see it, it looks to be an amazing show from what I saw.

Who else is excited see "The Color Purple" on Broadway?

I have always loved that movie. I often play it just to hear my favorite song sung by "Shug". "God is trying to tell you something".
