Nate: Entering into the common room, Nate looked around to see who was there. He recognized both Brit and Daniel from their earlier conversations. He saw a girl in the corner who he recognized, but hadn't spoke to. He couldn't really remember her speaking to anyone. Daniel was talking to another girl, who Nate was pretty sure he didn't know yet. He walked over and said, "Hi. I'm Nate. I don't think we've met yet."

 

[Ditz]

Daniel: Daniel applauds for Britt and walks over to her and Samantha. "Have I introduced myself to either of you? I'm planning to try meeting all of my fellow students. I'm Daniel."

Samantha: "It's kinda lame, but I can age and youthify plants." She still knew the dangers of telling that she could also do this to humans, so kept it a secret. Samantha saw a boy joke around with Brit.

Britt:"Hi Daniel, my name is Britt."

Britt(Turns to Samantha) and says, " I think your power is pretty awesome.

Alex: Alex laughed again,"I use to think that too, that's why I usually don't stay in one place for long. I was always afraid if I stayed too long someone would realize my powers, I messed up enough to show I had them. It's a wonder no one has ever realized what I can do!" Alex shook her head at herself and sat up letting her hair down. She was happy she could talk to Margo so easy, she hoped it would be somewhat this easy with other students.

Margo: "If you don't mind me asking, what are your powers?" Margo immediately regretted asking. Her hand flew to her mouth, and she tried to fix it. "You don't have to answer. I'm sorry for asking." She was almost whispering now. She couldn't decide why she felt the question was so bad, but did. Maybe it was just because she had never told anyone about her own personal powers. Margo hoped her slip wouldn't jeopardize the newly forming friendship.

 

[Fairywings]

Samantha: "Nice to see you again Daniel!" She had remembered him from the helicopter.

Daniel: Daniel remembered that he had in fact met her, on the helicopter. "Hey Samantha! I remember now!"

Daniel shifted slightly so he could talk to the group as a whole. "So, what do you all think of the school? It looks pretty cool to me. How has it been when you've been here Samantha? Do you ever get bored here?"

Daniel: Daniel smiled yet again. I smile a lot he thought. "Hey Britt, it's nice to meet you," he said.

Alex: Alex laughed and waved her hand in the air as if blowing her fear away,"It's alright Mar, don't feel bad for asking. I can control the elements, you know, earth,water fire and air." She smiled again at the girl hoping to show she wasn't angry at all.

Margo: Margo was thankful Alex wasn't angry. And she had called her Mar! Margo had never been close enough to anyone for them to give her a nickname. Suddenly, Margo felt the need to tell Alex about her own powers, even though she hadn't asked. She had never actually talked to anyone about them. "That's cool! Mine is kind of hard to explain. I can control gravity. So I can trap others and allow myself to fly. Stuff like that." Margo felt a weight being lifted off her shoulders. It wasn't a secret anymore. Everyone here accepted it. It felt amazing!

But honestly, I don't get bored easily. If you give me my laptop, I'm occupied all day. Plus, the library and sports stuff are nice. I'm not great, but I love competing."

Britt:"Nice to meet you." Britt is excited she is meeting so many nice students."Hey Daniel, do you play sports?"

Alex: Alex grinned," Are you serious? That is a really wicked power! Thanks for telling me, I know for some people it's hard to talk about their powers." Alex looks around the room once more and smiled again,"You know? I don't think I've ever been so happy to be living somewhere, I didn't think I'd fall in love with this place so quick."

Margo: Margo knew she would feel the same way if it weren't for her family. She just couldn't shake the feeling that she had abandoned them when they needed it most. Don't worry, she told herself, you left them in good hands. Aunt June will take care of them. This is what's best for everyone, including me. She couldn't say that all outload, though. It barely made sense in her head. "I guess. I mean, I love it here, but it's complicated."

To Britt: "Well, this is my fourth year here, so I know a lot about it, but there is always more to learn."
To Nate: "Oh your going down Nate!" She said smiling and laughing. "And yeah, you better not treat us girls any less when playing."

Sam: Samantha was thrilled, she loved meeting new people. "Hi Nate! Nice to meet you. Thanks Britt! Daniel, not really. I like that is always someone to talk to. Britt(Overhearing Nate) "Can I get in on some of this head to head action?" I don't expect you guys to play soft because I am a girl.

Nate: "Sure! We actually have a descent basketball game going now, if you, me, Sam, and Jack all play. I wonder what other games we can get together? And don't worry, even when I try to go easy on people, it doesn't work. I'm just way too competitive."

Margo: Margo knew she would feel the same way if it weren't for her family. She just couldn't shake the feeling that she had abandoned them when they needed it most. Alex: Alex gave her a nod and small smile,"I suppose having a family makes it difficult to stay here huh? Away from them?" Alex shook her head, she shouldn't try to make her feel bad! She stood up stretching, and says randomly," It stinks being short."

 

[Ditz]

Nate: "Sure! We actually have a descent basketball game going now, if you, me, Sam, and Jack all play. I wonder what other games we can get together? And don't worry, even when I try to go easy on people, it doesn't work. I'm just way too competitive."

Britt: Good because I didn't tell you about my other power of being able to hit 3 pointers at will. Britt Giggles as she was joking.

 

[Orreed]

Daniel: Daniel nods thoughtfully. "This place does seem like a place where you wouldn't exactly be bored."

Nate: "Sure! We actually have a descent basketball game going now, if you, me, Sam, and Jack all play. I wonder what other games we can get together? And don't worry, even when I try to go easy on people, it doesn't work. I'm just way too competitive."

Sam: Sam laughed. "That's for sure! It's never boring around here, especially last night. Other than me and this one junior who sadly could not come back this year it was just seniors! They where crazy. They knew how to control their powers well and it made a lot of fun. OK, good Nate. Playing sports as a school is a lot of fun. My personal favorite is capture the flag." She laughed again at Britt's joke. Today was great.
