Citrico's is fantastic!!! We just got back from our anniversary trip and had our special dinner there on our last night and all I can say is OMG!! It was sooo delicious - we were on the dining plan and witout it, it wouldn't have been financially possible for us to eat there, but it was definately well worth the $200 it would've been had we had to pay for it.
DH & I had the Arancini ($9 ea) - it was a risotto ball that was lightly breaded and quickly fried. It had a nice crisp outside with a soft texture (typical of a risotto) inside.
Then I had the salad of romaine ($8) which was good. I can't really say much more b/c really it was just lettuce, some blue cheese crumbles, a few slivers of hearts of palm and a splash of dressing - the romaine was very fresh and it was good. DH had the heirloom melon with proscuitto ham ($14) and ate everything else except the melon

in his defense he did try it (as did I) but I wouldn't have ordered it b/c I don't like melon.
I had the Bone-in Rib Eye Steak ($45) and it was almost the size of my plate

. It was accompanied by a few fingerling potatoes (that could've been cooked just a touch longer, but were excellent otherwise) and some carrot shavings lightly tossed in olive oil. If you like meat, you'll love this dish! It was cooked to perfection (med rare

) and had a very tasty demi-glace that just complimented the meat so well. That night I said, "It was the best tasting cow that ever died and gave it's life for me!" DH had the Filet Jardinere ($41) and it was good. It was small compared to mine, but was perfectly cooked and he enjoyed it. I enjoyed mine waaaay more though - his had some kind of demi-glace on his also, but I can't quite say what it was - possibly some type of wine or something. His mased potatoes were AWESOME - if I could've paired them with my steak, I could've died and gone to dinner heaven! They were so creamy and buttery - they were exquisite!
For dessert I had the Warm Chocolate Banana Torte ($8) it was good. It came with a scoop of French Vanilla Ice Cream and went very well with it. The torte itself was good, but it was VERY rich and it had some slices of banana throughout. It was made with dark chocolate and I'm not a fan (more of a milk chocolate girl) but it was good. IMO it needed the ice cream to balance out the extreme richness of the chocolate. It was decorated with a hand made dark chocolate fan - it was so pretty! DH had the Tirmisu ($8) and boy was it good! I am not a fan of coffee, but the bite I had of his was delicious! The espresso wasn't overpowering at all and the little dallops of white and milk chocolate just made it!
DH had a glowtini, which looked very pretty, and had one of those glow cubes. I had a bottle of Pellegrino (we shared it) and a glass of unsweetened Iced Tea. They don't need any elaboration b/c if you've had them once, you know how they taste
