the presents are opened and strewn all over the floor, leftovers are running out, and I'm just too lazy to turn on/off the outdoor lights. Anyone else have depressing details about the holiday season coming to an end.

YES! I swear we JUST put everything up. Not sure if we decorated late this year or what happened but it did go fast! We just put down the tree, and although it's a little early for me, my youngest puppy, being only 9 months old, plus he is a Miniature Dachshund, wasn't understanding the tree wasn't a play toy. lol
Plus my pup, a Scottish terrier is only 20 months old, so they were BOOKIN' around the tree, to the point where the whole bottom layer of branches were coming off. So we decided to just keep that bottom row off. Also, every day I was just taking balls, etc., off cause I was tired of putting them back on! lol I'll leave the decorations out little longer though.
After New Years Night, we will only keep outside lights on a few hours, and only for a few nights. Whenever we hit a warm day, they will come down. :guilty:

This year everything came down and was packed up and put away the very next day. I just couldn't wait to get rid of it for some reason. :confused3 I spent Christmas day cleaning and finding homes for the tons of toys Santa brought too. We had a nice holiday, I was just ready to be done with it all.
