At this time I think we will bow out. We've talked as a family and have decided that we will pass on the tree but it will be to a family that will be checking in on the day we check out. We decided to do this so we wouldn't have to worry about trying to get two people together to make the swap. Thanks for the great ideas though

I understand the DVC boards also do a swap...maybe you might want to check that one out?

OMG!! U.S.- What a TREE-mendous idea!! This is so great!! Count us in!!
My DM and DS and I were debating on whether we should do this and now we can!! (Without the hassle btw!) Thanks so much for putting this all together! Disneyers like you make all of our vacations extra special!!

All of the great tips and special details are what truly makes a Disney trip so special!! Sooo, we will be at the Contemporary from Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 23 to Tuesday, November 28th, 2006, if you can fit us in! Per your list, I think we are the only ones at the Contemporary so far! Hopefully, we will start a trend!

I am really looking forward to this trip! 1st time with 3 yr old DN! He just adores Christmas lights (a boy after my own heart!) and he is just going to burst when he sees this tree!! Thanks again for all of your work in this!!

Everyone, check the list to make sure I have everything right on it, okay? I'm not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree when it comes to these things (chuckle, snicker, snort).

You know, I just thought of something. Seems like there's quite a few people arriving later in the month that can provide trees. I know I'm shipping mine down to the resort beforehand, so I thought I might just ship it down earlier to an earlier arrival, and they can pass it on to me when I arrive. Is anyone else thinking this may work for them?

Hi Everybody!!!

I think that this is a great idea, please add my family to the list!!

We are going 12/1-12/9. We arrive on Friday 12/1 and we will be staying at ASMO. The first evening we have ADR's @ Kona and we plan on taking a monorail tour of all of the monorail resorts Holiday Decorations so I can pick up a tree up at any of these resorts.

I am a frequent disboarder on the weddings and honeymoon page. We are getting married at Disney in December. We have 2 stays and would love a tree for both or at least one part of the stay.

We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside from 12/7 - 12/11/06. The only tough part would be getting the tree to the next person on the 11th. That is the day of our wedding.

The next part of the stay is from 12/12 - 12/16/06 at the Port Orleans French Quarter.

The night of our wedding (12/11) we are staying at the Grand Floridian - Disney pays for it.

Thanks for setting this up. I would be unable to bring a tree since we will be traveling from NJ with all of our wedding stuff.

We will be staying at Saratoga Springs from December 16 - 22nd. We will be coming from the Disney Magic, so we will not be able to bring a tree but would love to swap and such! This will be a great addition to our honeymoon! Please add us to the list, hopefully it will work out! Oh, we will be leaving on December 22 at 10:00AM, so we would have to swap the tree on the 21st.

Okay, I've added you in.
I'm putting this out there for everyone...seems like more people are putting in requests for trees than volunteering to bring trees...especially for the early December arrivals. If anyone who isn't marked down for volunteering a tree can bring or ship one (esp. late Nov/early Dec. arrivals), would you please PM me? I'd hate to set all this up, only to find that there's no tree to swap!
