The Cheesecake Factory

How little are the kids? I personally wouldn't take kids under 5 unless I was confident in their behavior. It has good food, our wait times on the weekend can be over an hour.

Age 6 & 12. That is a long time to wait. Maybe we will just have something else and then call in an order for cheesecake to eat later.

Thanks!

CF is to die for! Yum- it is one of my favorite resturants. My DD6 loves it also. They have a huge menu and everything I have had has been yummy. DD usually gets chicken strips or mini sliders and a smoothie. We always save room for desert as the cheesecake is the best in the world. IMHO!

Waits on a weekend night can be extensive so be prepared with some coloring books or something. They give out a kids menu and a few crayons when you are seated.

I highly recommend it as in our many trips we have never been disappointed. Best cheesecakes to us are the Reese's Peanut Butter, White Chocolate Rasberry Truffle, German Chocolate and DH loves the Key lime. We have seriously tried every single flavor they have. We drive over an hour to get there, that's how good it is and sometimes just drive down to get the cheesecake only!

I love Cheesecake Factory! The variety is astounding. As far as kids, I found this on their site. I always see plenty of children when we eat there.

Although The Cheesecake Factory does not provide a special menu for children at this time, we do offer a number of 'Kid Friendly' items such as our 'Quesadilla' appetizer, 'Grilled Cheese Sandwich', 'Cheese' or 'Pepperoni Pizza', 'Cajun Chicken Littles', 'Roadside Sliders', and 'Buffalo Wings'. Also, not listed on our menu is the 'Kid’s Pasta Marinara', made with bow tie pasta and a side of marinara sauce. For our youngest guests (those in a highchair) we offer a complimentary 'Baby Plate' with slices of banana, fresh bread and fresh oranges.

My kids have always been able to find lots to eat here. Hey! They have cheesecake what more do you need?;)

If you decide to go the banana cream cheesecake is to die for.:thumbsup2 Enjoy! :)

Tell me about it.

Is it kid friendly?

Thanks!

White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut Cheesecake :cloud9: (need I say more?)

There are lots of kids there.

Extensive menu.

Good desserts and decent food.

What else do you want to know?

Portions are large.

I go there for the desserts.

I love the chocolate cake with the nuts on the side or the white chocolate caramel...cheesecake.

I usually order the Chicken Club.

The Grand Lux Cafe is also owned by the CF. I like the CF better.

Plan on going a little early before the dinner rush and your wait won't be as long. I love the CF, awesome food. They have the best Strawberry martinis I have ever tasted and their fried zuchini is excellent. My favorites there are any of the pizzas or the cheese steak. Kids are welcome there and you will see a lot of kids there. Just make sure you go early to avoid the long wait.

One of our favorite places! I think its also very kid friendly. The one in Anaheim does have a kid's menu and another manager I spoke to said they are test marketing them in some restaurants. They also have a small bites menu which would be great for kids.

We are usually too stuffed to eat dessert but try to save room. I normally don't eat cheesecake but make an exception when I go there.

I agree with the PP, just get there a bit before the normal dinner time, and the wait should not be too bad. They might also do "call ahead" seating so check that out.

Be warned, the portions are huge! I ignored the warnings I got the first time we went. DH and I ordered salads with our entrees, and even they were big. When our actual food came, we could barely eat half of it. (we are big eaters too, hardly ever bring home left overs when we eat out)

I love it there but I definitely do not think it is kid friendly at all. I probably wouldn't take any child younger than about 7 there. Wait times can be bad but if you start early it usually is okay. And I personally do not think the menu is very good for children. Since having kids though we just do carry out instead. Portions are huge and the cheese cake is very light tasting on the cheese if that makes sense. If you are a fan of "real" cheese cake this place won't be for you. We love it though and do carry out once in a while as a treat :)

I see no reason why quiet well behaved kids couldn't go there.

The menu is like 20 pages long lol so I'm sure they'll find something to eat.

Food is excellent. I've never had a long wait but I always go at off times.

Okay, I will be the naysayer.

CF is okay, but not one of my favorites. I think they are overpriced. Food we have had there has been so/so compared to others. Cheesecake is good, but pricey as well. No kids menu, so can get pricey if taking kids, unless they will share with you or each other. Wait times can be long. If going I would go early and have stuff for them to do.

I have a dear friend that loves CF, so we go there for her birthday dinner. That is enough for me.

JMHO---no flames, please!

ksjayhawks, I agree with you. The cheesecake is very good, but I think the prices are too high for the quality of the food.

That's funny because I think its pretty reasonable in price. We spent less there on lunch than Red Robin:confused3

in my opinion the prices are comparable to other chain restaurants. The food is nothing to be waiting in line over an hour for.

No kids menu but plenty of things kids would eat. It is like a Fridays or applebees in terms of dress. No problem with kids

My kids love the cheesecake factory. I always order them the cajun chicken tenders and its large enough for them to split (5 and 11)

We all love the cheesecake there also. Not sure what "light tasting on the cheese " means from a pp but the chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake is the best.

When its a birthday in our household, each gets to pick our favorite restaurant to eat. DS and myself always pick the cheesecake factory and DD and DH are more than happy to come along.

Just go early around 3-4pm for dinner, you'll be fine.
