While it is a small thing, I am so happy. Our tradition is on our first night, we always got the AHOD to celebrate. Might sound silly, but after 7 cruises, it is a well established tradition for our family. Hurray!

I can relate. Our first Disney Cruise in 2001 we had all hands on deck, and every cruise since. It had become a tradition for us as well over the last 15 years.

I never thought cheese could make me so happy! Then again, what am I saying... Of course cheese makes me happy.

I'm rolling my eyes at them blaming this on a printing error. If it were just a printing error, then people wouldn't have been told it wasn't available when they called room service to request it. Why couldn't they just be honest and say, "due to guest feedback, we've made the decision to add the AHOD platter back to the menu." Or be really honest and say "you caught us being incredibly greedy and called us on it, so we're relenting to avoid bad publicity over a couple bucks worth of cheese."

Hmmm...I hope this is true and that the email isnt the product of another clueless CM. It says "the menu hasn't changed." Obviously the menu changed in many ways other than the deletion of the cheese and in the comments to the post, someone says they are on the Dream and still have the "incorrect" menu. But given the popularity of this issue, I feel confident we can count on further updates as to the presence of the cheese.

It says, "the Room Service menu has not changed and favorites like the . . . " If it has NOT changed, then it implies that the menu is identical to what it was, so the Buffalo Chicken Wings and the Grilled Salmon Steak and such should also still be available via room service. No?

I honestly thought the same thing and by reading the emails from DCL (they all seem the same in the three examples I've seen) that's how I took it as well. I'm thinking if this all holds to be true and I guess we have to believe it for now, it might take time to "update" menus that were "wrong" but now going to make right? It will be like an Apple iOs update room service version 1.1.2.3 lol

I am happy that they brought it back already. This was actually the first thing that they ever took away that upset me.
