On a normal night I might do that. BUT tonight is the last race of the year at Portland Int'l Raceway. DH called at about 9pm and said that they had finished the first round of races and then started handing out prizes and high point tropies....so that means it's going to be a long night! They still aren't home, so I'm sure that DS will be extremely tired in the morning, DH will also be tired. Luckily DD doesn't start college classes until Monday, so she doesn't have to be at the high school until 1pm. So I guess that leaves me to get him up for school.
The Thursday night PIR races are a summer thing, but they do start before school gets out for the summer and then end a couple of weeks after school starts. So we always have a few weeks of 1 really late night. Although when school is in session they usually try to let the little kids race first so they can get home earlier.
oh yeah, big news for the metro area today .. we gots ourselves a new bridge over that wide river!
Didn't make a lick of difference on the St Paul side.. we got stuck in traffic on the way home from clinic.
