"The Chase Lounge" Info

Thank you for your responses. Are the bands color-coded for each particular show or identified in some way? Also, I thought local AP holders came in just for concerts all the time. What money are they supposed to be spending to see the concerts? We are AP holders coming in the last weekend of F&W just for the BBVD concerts ourselves.

Concerts, Food & Wine, etc are all there for Disney to entice guests to visit the parks - have lunch, dinner, shop etc - and get a free concert. It would apply to just about anything special that is free, it's a draw to promote spending.

If a local comes in, picks up a dozen bands so that their friends can show up hours later to just watch the concert, then Disney has given up seats to folks who have spent nothing. By making everyone be there to have their band put on, it means all those guests are in the park, hopefully will stay in the park until the concert - have lunch, a few drinks, shop.

Is the Chase Lounge only open during Food and Wine Festival? I feel like I read somewhere that this is the case.

Can anyone tell me where the seats are for the wristbands? And where that compares to the dining package?

Last year they were on the left side of the amphitheater. Chase guests were seated behind Standby wristbanded guests and in front of Dining Package guests. I haven't seen anyone post changes for this year.

Perfect thank you! It sounds like the dining package is the worst option for seats up close. May have to change my plan of attack.

Interesting. Chase reserved seating was *behind* ETTB dining packages in 2014. That I know for sure, because a lady I received wristbands with in the lounge had also booked the dining package for 2 showtimes and she sat 2 rows in front of us. Perhaps it changed. Not sure, since we did FP+ last year (which isn't offered this year).

It's been easy enough to get decent seats to the concerts overall this year so I haven't been making a dash to get the wristbands early in the day.I went to see Dennis Deyoung on Monday to then hear he was sick and Tiffany would be replacing him and going on again for a fourth and eventual fifth night, well I went up to the Chase lounge at almost 5pm and they still had wristbands available that late,I guess Tiffany playing that many days in a row really lowered the value of the wristbands!!I eventually skipped the concerts that day and headed to MK instead since it closed at midnight.

I wonder who is seated in the "former FP" area (right front) this year?

Last year, Standby and Chase wristbanded guests were sheltered from the rain while Dining Guests were soaked. Perhaps that's why they did away with FP.

I wonder, as well.

FP+, imo, wasn't all that great. The CMs sat guests before the allotted FP+ time, R/F seats filled up quickly, and the rest of the FP+ guests were overflowed into the back seating area with general. They were not happy.

Our FP+ group arrived early and were seated R/F, but directed toward the middle/back rows. The band's family sat 2 rows in front of us. I'm still not sure who actually sat in the front rows.

Hopefully dining guests get better seating this year. I felt they deserved to sit in front of us, but CHASE is the main sponsor and maybe took precedence on where their preferred guests sit.

It is the area in Italy known as the Italy Isola.

It is a nice spot-there are private parties there at times.

The early arrivals will get the best spots-right on the water.:)

you don't need to go to the Lounge, just show up at this spot? My sister and I both have Disney Visa cards, and 4 kids total, can we all get in?

How early would you suggest we get there?

when we saw Wilson Phillips a few weeks ago, we had 4th row center of the stage. You need your wristband. Don't just plan on showing your Chase card at the theater. They ask to see all wristbands on people as you are walking inside. A group just stood behind us (my friend saw they didn't have wristbands on) and when we were being escorted in the lady stopped them and said "i'm sorry but without a wristband you need to go stand in the line over there"

Correct. Just be sure to show your card. A few weeks ago, people were there already a little bit before 7pm

The people behind us were dining guests, so at least for our show Chase card holders were better off. We were in the 4th row center.

Thank you for the update.

In 2014 CHASE was L/F 4th center and ETTB Dining Guests were in front of us on the 2nd row.

Dining package seating is the first two rows on each side where the blond lady and person in aqua are sitting behind the handicap section. My husband and I sat on the right side front row for the 5:30pm Fuel concert in September. There is a walking path directly in front. We experienced a lot of interruption from scooters driving by and people coming up and squatting to take pictures throughout the show.

What was the show time on this night? Was it 8 PM?

Another question. Can you come and go? If we get there early for a good viewing spot, I am thinking that my DD3 may not be patient enough to sit still the whole time. I ma yn eed to take her for a short walk, or a pre-show potty break. TIA!
