I'm not sure that I have any questions...I was just hoping for Pete to pop in and tell us "hello" or "hey, I'm still here" or "YES! I am as excited about this 'conference' as you are." LOL

How about those confirmations??? Might you have any info. on that...since that seems to be the most 'bothersome' question of late.

Linda said they hadn't gone to contract yet. I hesitate to bring this up again... We are paying $215/night for the Y&BC/DIS Convention rate. It might be standard view or water view... there's no way of knowing, right?

Over on the Resorts Board, we're seeing $169/regular view and $189/water view for the Regular rate period. DIS Con is the Value Season... it's supposed to be even less!

I know it's not polite to talk about money. But if the contract isn't finalized, could a lower rate be negotiated? Aren't prices less when you buy in bulk?

I think $money$ is an i$$ue for all (or at least most) of us!!, so I think it's a very legitmate question. JMHO.

I personally know someone who dropped the hotel/package and went with the events-only package because she found a better deal than what was offered...((shrugging shoulders)) So, I hope someone is able to answer your question soon.

Actually, I was wondering about the Kids Program and whether an Orniment trade/sell/buy/trade is in the works? Remember the ornament thing was suggested as each family would bring an ornament and they could be sold with proceeds going to Pete's children's charity group. (I forgot what the group's name is)
AND Is there a specific place where we can go and view the activities w/dates so far that have been scheduled? Thanks a million for all your help. Gerri
