With as much covid as is on the ships right now, not sure the CDC protocols are working anyway. Just let everyone make their own decisions about whether cruising is a safe and viable travel option for their families.
So now the cruise lines don’t have to report the positive case numbers anymore. And the cruise lines can decide what they want to do to keep their guest safe. I hope DCL releases a statement soon and gives us some guidelines and dates for any changes they foresee.
This is wonderful news. Sounds like Carnival and RCCL will make an announcement by the end of the week…DCL usually follows them about a month later. Hopefully pre-testing requirement ends soon!

Folks - this may or may not mean changes are coming. My understanding is most cruiselines, including DCL, have been voluntarily following the CDC guidelines. And with many destinations/ports still requiring vaccines, there may be no change in the near future.
Yes, I read that this morning today. Also mentioned that they are not accepting the recovery letter (Carnival cruises) not sure if it will extend to other cruise lines.
