Yes, I am sure they meant your bus driver pics and not mine since I don't have any bus driver pics!!

...okay, this will probably sound totally ridiculous, but what's a 'swap'??

It is when a group of people exchange scrapbooking elements for a particular theme--For my Mulan page above, the Mulan paper piecing came to me from a swap.

Not a ridiculous question at all....

Swap is a group of individuals that get together and make the same element/kits for all those involved in that group of a swap...

For example:
2" letters are a big thing right now on the board..
So, I hosted a swap last year for AK
Mickey was our word.. each person made a letter and embellished it... then they mail it to the hostess and she mails out the completed groups... so when it returns home to you...
You can spell out the word Mickey and it would look like this..

Here is an example of a page kit we made..
It had a title, photo mats and an extra element

Love your pages. Never thought of doing an 8x8 album but it's coming along great!!! I'm wondering where you got a couple of the papers though.

1--I love the background paper on the Cozumel layout
2--Also the paper on the left side of the Inspirational Dining layout
3--Also the border and flower on the Tropical Getaway layout
4--And I LOVE the Name that Tune layout. The piano is very cool. Was that a die cut or mabye done with the cricut? How was that done? I just might have to have to scraplift that one. LOL

1- Cozumel paper came from a dcwv travel stack, I bought it a while ago at J's. You might still be able to google "dcwv travel stack" and find it on-line? Several options to buy came up when I did this. The stack has a slight texture to it.

2. HL a few years ago though

3. M's had both of those fairly recently

4. Found piano key image through a google image search, copied and pasted into word, and made it the length I needed for my layout. Then I printed it on white card stock and cut it out the old-fashioned way : ) The paper from this layout came from the same paper stack.

Cruise album finished!! (Flash shows up funny on some of the pics ??) Received the black/red border on the farewell party page from a swap from mommy2mrb I believe and the fun ATC from a swapper on another board.

Those are my Jungle parade LOs for my august 2011 trip (pre-scrap trips) the extra page with Minnie & Mickey isn't glued down on the photo mats - I'm not sure if I'll use it or not - if not the Minnie & Mickey will be together.

I'm trying to finish my Disney album from 2008 before we go again this summer. (Yes, I'm a little slow.) Hope you all don't mind but I may have to "borrow" some of your ideas for this year's Disney album.
