I love all of your pictures with characters. Since we have been to the parks so many times we like to do all of the non-ride fun things when we are there without the kids and grandkids. We have a ton of character pics and I am always looking for new ways to scrap them. That's what I love about these boards.

I seek out those characters! I find visiting with the characters to be as much fun as the rides in Disney!! I think I truly love it for the interaction as well as the fun scrapping it provides!

Wow! Talk about inspiring other scrappers. What a fantastic job. Thanks for sharing all your pages with us.

Aww thank you for the kind words, GrumpyMom25! Posting the pictures and scrolling through the pages on this thread have helped me get out of my slump! I spent last night and this morning making 4 more pages. I'll post as soon as they are uploaded :)

I saved the Magic Kingdom for last because it's my favorite park to visit and scrap!

Sorry if it is blurry, I tried to take it without flash to avoid the glare of the protector.

Beautiful pages, ladies!! Looking through them has made me excited for our trip coming up... and scrapping it when we get back!

Almost finished scrapping our 2009 trip :)

I typed the border on the green paper. It's a quote from the TTA "Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow. Your party from Saturn has arrived. Please give them a ring"

Still a work in progress :) I did type the lyrics in the Haunted Mansion font and used them as the border.

I've had so much fun creating this.

Great job! Where did you get the text for your borders?

Thanks! I actually just type them up in Word using free fonts that I've found online. Then I set my printer to like 4x12" and cut the paper down to the size I want.

I've been amazed at the fonts I have found by googling- fonts for the haunted mansion, disney, and even monsters inc!

dacky - your pages are wonderful! :lovestruc

I have been absolutely glued to my screen checking out all the beautiful paper piecings, embellishments and fonts. :surfweb: The castles, Boo's door, the tiny princess silhouettes in your Fantasyland layout - WOW! :worship:

You must have a cutting system - surely you don't cut all those details out by hand?

oh my goodness no, I don't cut all of the paper pieces by hand. My family got me the cricut for Christmas this past year and I have made it worth every cent! I absolutely love what it's done for my scrapbooking.

The only piece I did by hand was Boo's door...I dream of a Monster's Inc cricut cart! Or even just a Pixar...with all the Pixar characters pixiedust:

Thank you for the compliments...I absolutely love scrapping our trips and sharing them here at the dis boards :disrocks:

a lot from memory and then I just google the phrase and see where it leads me. I've also looked up videos of the attractions/shows on youtube when google gets me no where. :)

I really hope to have some new pages to share this weekend. We just got back from Disney last weekend so lots of new pics to scrap. I just have to stop thinking about it and start scrapping. Sometimes I think I just put too much thought into it. They are scrapbooks right? You really can't do anything wrong.

I've only seen a little bit about the cricut on tv here in the UK, but already think I would be something I could use regularly. After seeing your LO's, I can really appreciate all the things it can do. :goodvibes

And, I must say, you did a great job of making Boo's door by hand - it's really cool! :thumbsup2

I will not admit how long I have spent looking at this thread!:)
All the pages are amazing! I love the idea of hidden mickeys and will be scraplifting this! :cool1: I just got a few cricut disney cartridges and am now inspried to scrap our feb. 2010 trip!

Grumpymom, I can't wait to see your work! Please post as I have loved what you have done in the past!! I hope you had a wonderful time in the World. I definitely know what you mean when it comes to putting too much thought into scrapbooking...I sometimes place a set of pictures on white paper for days before I can think of what to do...but it's so rewarding once an idea comes and the page is complete!

Clearly you have a better memory than I do!
Thanks,

aww I doubt it lizavance! I usually just remember a piece of it and then google it with quotes like "Paging Mr. Morrow" and see what comes up. I didn't remember the rest of the line until google showed me ("Your party has arrived from Saturn. Please give them a ring" cracks me up!)

Tink, too, the Cricut is such a wonderful invention. It overwhelmed at first...and still does sometimes but it has truly helped to improve my scrapping. The only ptoblem is the prices of those cartridges and the fact that I want them all. haha

I really appreciate the compliment on Boo's door. I doubt I could do it again if I tried though....that was a day of tons of patience, where I was home alone just loving creating!

haha scrapbooksellman, when I first found this board...I also spent way too many evenings getting through all of the pages! Everyone here does amazing work! Which Disney cartidges did you get???

I haven't scrapbooked in such a long time, but after seeing all of these awesome pages, I'm ready to pick it up again! My aunt did a beautiful scrapbook for me as a gift for Christmas. Our last trip was three years ago and I wrote a very lengthy trip report, and what she did was copy the report and used it as journaling in the scrapbook. All of the pictures corresponded with quotes from the report. It was such a neat gift! We made a deal for our next trip that I would write another report and then we would scrapbook it.

Dacky: I really love your Pixar pages! Each page is so well themed
