the castle ?

Is there a Disney Castle you can stay in ( like a resort ).THIS is my 1st post, so i'm gonna be a bit vague, I'm an Aussie ( not related to Steve.I ) LOL, My girlfriend just spent 5 days in Disneyland and was BLOWN away, she loved it, and told me briefly to stay ( if we go ) at the Disney Castle..

IS there a link to this ? She could not get in , it was all booked out.. sounded good.

There isn't a "castle" hotel at WDW. There are several hotels (known as monorail/deluxe resorts) that have "castle view" rooms. The Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Polynesian Resorts all have views of the Magic Kingdom, hence the "castle".

Grand Floridian is a lovely turn of the century themed resort with turrets and is quite nice. Contemporary is a triangular shaped building and the monorail runs through it. People sometimes fondly call this resort "the toaster". Polynesian Resort (and our personal favorite) is a South Seas themed resort.

There are many other resorts as well, but sadly, no "castle".

WELCOME TO THE BOARDS!!!! This is a great place to find lots of info!!!

Below is a picture from the room I had at the Wilderness Lodge (room #5032). You could see the castle, as well as parts of the lagoon and the upper levels of the Contemporary Resort. You can also view Wishes (which is the nightime fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom) from the balcony of the room too! You can watch the castle change colors in the evening and the location is quiet. Also, the Wilderness Lodge is less expensive than lagoon views at the Polynesian, Contemporary & Floridian.

This is a "woods" view room, but as you can see, you get alot more than woods for a view. If you click on the link below, you can see pictures of the room, as well as pictures of Wishes that I took from the balcony.
