The Story so far...
Day 0
Day 1 - the day after the night before...
Welcome once again intrepid reader, I trust you have managed to sober up somewhat following our busy day yesterday.
We awake at around 6.30am, which is pretty good for us and I guess not too surprising bearing in mind the amount we had yesterday! We are both feeling a little ginger this morning, and last night is something of a blur, neither of us can remember too much about the walk back from Jellyrolls and we certainly don't know who Ginger is
Plan today is to head off to the Mall at Millenia and then EPCOT this evening. So off to the Mall we go for a wander around the shops, little is bought - a baby suit for Louis (our grandson), a Tommy Bahama shirt for Matt (me) and some Tommy Bahama coasters for drinks (both of us!!).
At around 12.15 lunch seems like a good idea and we elect to go to the Cheesecake Factory as I am in the mood for some wings. We share some appetizers - wings, a tuna roll and some pot stickers with some cheesecake to follow. Importantly it's washed down by a couple of beers (a gallon of water - for some reason we both feel a little dehydrated) for me and Deb has a platinum Mojito and a Raspberry Martini. A very pleasant diversion for a hour or so.
Feel sufficiently fed and watered we decide to go to Prime Outlets, via a supermarket - Deb want's to try a Fresh Market which is quite pleasant I must say and a little different to the usual Supermarket.
A purchase-free trip to Prime Outlets follows, despite me doing my best to buy some shoes at North Face
Back at the ranch we are both pretty tired so have sit down for a while, Deb has a small sleep and despite still feeling pretty bushed we manage to get ourselves up and off to EPCOT for the IF&WF.
We stop off to buy our annual passes and our Table in Wonderland card.
My memory's not too good but I know we have 3 or 4 beers and a similar number of glasses of wine. It's a trifle chilly around, but we do enjoy wandering around very slowly - it's pretty busy here tonight which I'm not surprised by with the IF&WF coming to an end.
By the time Illuminations starts we are around by International Plaza so stand and watch from there. Whilst not great for taking pictures due an overhanging tree it is clear that the fireworks are set up for watching from here and it is a good spot to watch from. Illuminations is as rousing as always and we both enjoy watching it.
A slow wander through Canada sees us arrive at a very quiet UK where we stop for a few pics.
We stroll back to the Boardwalk and sadly a little too tired for a night cap at Belle Vue Lounge, so a quick beer is consumed in the room and whilst I want to stay awake to watch the NFL, my body does not want to, so off to sleep we go.
A somewhat slow day drinks wise, so will need to get my averages back up tomorrow, which could be tricky with a trip to MK planned - I knew I should've brought my hip flask!!
