dressed in their Christmas outfits and my DS was in orange & gray!!! We'll have to go back w/his Christmas outfit on too! Is this normal for AK to be decorated for Christmas so soon??
YEAH!!!! I can't wait to go over and start getting christmas card pictures - I was upset that I missed the halloween characters - who was dressed up and what were they wearing?!?!
We were in WDW last year Nov 1-7, and AK was actualyl the first park that we encountered CHristmas decorations in. Later in the week we saw some in MK, but AK was the first one we saw! AHhhhh, can't wait for this year- 26 more days!!
I'm so glad I will get to see some Christmas Decorations next week. I am just so excited. I am Mrs. Christmas!!! I've been playing Christmas songs already. I didn't think I would get to see the decorations anywhere!
(It's my anniversary trip so I couldn't make it later!)
Will all of the characters in all of the parks be wearing christmas or only certain ones in certain parks??? Just wondering I am leaving today at noon to drive and will be there tomorrow - I am getting married at the WP a week from today and want to get some pics with the characters and my bridesmaids and my fiance too but I just want some friend pics as well-

Joanna, what do the Halloween costumes look like at AK? Do they wear them throughout the month of October or only on Halloween day? This is great! Thanks for the info....!!!
It's a little early, but I'm kinda glad. We're leaving on Sunday and we'll be back before all the big decorations are up. It'll be fun to see at least some of them!
the characters at AK only wear their Halloween costumes the week of Halloween. Mickey is a scarecrow. Minnie is a cowgirl. Goofy is a cowboy and Donald is Davey Crocket. I also believe that the Winnie the Pooh characters were dressed up for halloween too.
They were. Pooh was a bee, Tigger was a skeleton, Eeyore was a Mummy and Piglet was a flower (though he was only out at mnsshp). I have pictures with all but Piglet.
I wish they'd give the characters new Christmas attire each year. We made our first family WDW trip 4 years ago in December and have been there every November/December since--as much as I LOVE taking pictures of my DS with the characters, I'm a bit sick of those same old holiday outfits.
