You won't give up your seat because you need it. There's nothing wrong with that. Now, if it was me in your situation, I might give it up if I thought someone was in worse shape than me, but otherwise, I'd be keeping it too.
Yeah, but people will be looking at me thinking that I should be standing up for somebody else because I look normal because I have a condition that isn't readily apparent. As for the worse shape thing... I would probably stand up for a mother holding a young child if nobody else stood up, but I wouldn't be happy about it!
