The bus & boat from the boardwalk...

What are the stops on the route for the boat that leaves from the boadwalk? Are there 2 boats; 1 for EPCOT and 1 for MGM or is it just 1 boat that goes to both? Also what is the route/stops for the bus going to Magic Kingdom? I need to know how much time to allow myself for travel. TIA!!!

The same boat makes a roundtrip to/from both Epcot & MGM. They run:

Epcot
Boardwalk
Yacht Club/Beach Club
Swan Dolphin
MGM
Swan Dolphin
Yacht Club/Beach Club
Boardwalk
Epcot

Boardwalk is the last bus stop going to MK, it should take about 10 or 15 minutes once you get on.

It's usually about 15 to 20 minutes between boats. From Boardwalk, if there's a boat coming in or waiting, we will catch it to Epcot, otherwise walk (about a 10 minute walk).

We used the boat to and from BWI to MGM but only once did we ride the boat back from Epcot to BWI (because my DS wanted to). It really is much quicker to walk from Epcot.

there are two boats...one that runs to MGM and one that runs to EPCOT. It is quicker to walk to EPCOT.

Almost quicker to walk to MGM, depending on if the boat is ready to leave when you board it or not.

actually there are more than two boats. They all run in a circle as posted above.

The most I've seen on the route were six (yes six). Four were on the lake at the same time and there were two on the canal to MGM. Now this was years ago in late June. NOw I think they only run three boats normally.

The boat service at the Boardwalk was pretty good, but the bus service to the Boardwalk is the worst. They have 5 hotels on the route that services the Boardwalk. The buses are crowded and with all the stops it takes forever to get to your destination. During peak times (like when the weather turns or a park closes) it can be impossible to get a ride. We waited 2.5 hours (in the rain) for a bus to take us from Blizzard Beach to BWV because every bus that came by was full. We finally resorted to taking cabs everywhere because we didn't want to waste hours of our vacation on the bus.
