Theater lovers... what's up? Had to rescue this thread from page 19. We are going to NYC soon to see Caberet, Floyd Collins and The Outsiders. Usually have every day packed full but not this time. We have been watching Younger on Netflix and that's the first time I've seen or heard anything about the Sea Glass Carousel. If we head down there to see it, is there anything else in the area that would be interesting not related to Ellis Island, the Statue or 9/11?
Some of the things we have enjoyed previously, 5 bridges E-bike ride, Transit Museum in Brooklyn, the American Kennel Club Museum, NY Historical Museum, Yankees game, walking tours of Harlem, walking tour of Chinatown and Little Italy, graffiti tour of Brooklyn, walking the Hi Line, Little Island, and shopping, shopping, shopping. We have done most of the traditional tourist stops in Manhattan. Any ideas for late Winter/Early Spring?
We do most meals from Trader Joe's with usually 1-2 new to us restaurant meals. Last time we went to Sylvia's in Harlem. was thinking this time of trying Jacob's Pickles. Maybe a burger lunch somewhere like Morton's? or would Peter Luger's be worth the trip? any other suggestions? We usually do one meal from Halal Guys and Sunday brunch at Magnolia.
Also, if Parade is coming to your town, go see it. I really never heard any hype about it but we were pleasantly surprised at how good it was.
