The British Race?

I had an argument on the Net with another woman, who is British. She ended up calling me a "racist" because I don't like the British. (So explain to me why I have 2 cats named Fergie and Diana?) Generally speaking, it's a completely ridiculous statement, as anyone who knows me will tell you. Also, this woman is a complete twit, but I digress.

Can someone be a "racist" for not liking a nationality? Would I be a "Nationalist"? I was thinking maybe "Anglophobic".

Yup.It's a nationality with a mix of backgrounds, Anglo-Saxons,Norman French etc.

Thank you -- jingoist it is!! Although "Chauvinistic Patriot" does have a nice ring to it. Unfortunately, I don't think the "twit" in question knows words with more than two syllables.

If someone is going to insult me, I insist they use proper English. I am a jingoist AND a snob!
