DH and I really enjoy the British Invasion and have seen many, many shows. However this time, we sat up close. DH, who is a drummer, noticed the the drummer wasn't really playing. Are they really performing live or is it just a recording? Does anyone know? What do you think?

From what I've seen it looks like the drummer is actually playing, but the drum sounds are "triggered", which means that the sounds that you are hearing are "pre-recorded" or "electronic" samples that are "set-off" or "triggered" by the drums and not the acoustic sounds of the actual drums. But it does look like he's actually playing the parts.

If you want to see a band that is definitely playing every note you hear, go see Off Kilter next door at the Canadian pavillion, not much Beatles or Stones, but totally live!

p.s. Jasmine - I'm a professional drummer, but I must admit that I haven't seen that many shows from the British Invasion and have never paid real close attention, but the sounds are defintely not acoustic.

p.s.s. - nice to see you outside of the Parks Game threads!

Hi! Yeah I get around on other threads and boards. ;)

We like Off Kilter and we have no doubt that is 100 percent live.

Hey Jasmin - if your Aladdin enjoys live music, try to catch the traveling live band in Tomorrowland at the MK. We saw them in January and they were awesome. Speaking of awesome, "W" kicked butt last night.....gotta love the President!

We saw them last time we at the MK. They were very good, and yes my Aladdin certainly enjoyed them.

I love the W! :D
