To me, one of the best places to go for a solo traveler is to the World Showcase at Epcot. When you get there, go to the United Kingdom and go to the back garden. You'll find yourself in the old setting like in Mary Poppins. But then you will notice a bandstand. Soon, 4 gentleman will come out. You, then will put your hands together for the "British Invasion". This is one of many great shows here at Epcot. They play all music from the Beatles. The dress like them as well. One of them has a striking resemblance to Sir Paul Mccartney. It's a great time to sit back and just RELAX. I always make it a priority to not miss any performance.

I would strongly suggest to not miss them. They won't dissappointe you.

I agree, the British Invasion are very good, and I love looking at the gardens while I am there. It is a very quaint place to sit and relax. And you never know, Mary Poppins just might show up.

Off Kilter (Canadian) and British Invasion (British) are very close together. Off Kilter is in Canada and British Invasion is in Britain...they are perfectly in order if you go right after you cross the bridge when you enter World Showcase. For Canada, turn right, after you pass Canada, prersuming you don't want to stop for Off Kilter, you will be in Britain, and may see the British Invasion.

After you pass over the bridge to World Showcase, if you wish to go to Mexico, Norway and/or China, turn left...otherwise if you turn right you will visit Canada, UK and then France...in that order.

I loved British Invasion! I had my mom with me who is an old fan of the Beatles and she just loved the blast from the past. Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Mary Poppins were there visiting in the toy store directly in front of the garden and the Pooh characters began to dance with the guests. It was hilarious!

Yup - I saw both British Invasion and Off Kilter during our 2 wk vacation Aug 13-27. It was great staying at the BCV our 2nd wk as I could easily walk over to see a show. Brought home an Off Kilter CD.
Its nice how they set up their shows so one starts at 330, the other at 4 and so on.

The British Invasion and Off Kilter are both excellent bands (my personal preference is Off Kilter - check my signature :) )! As others have mentioned, they almost always play back to back, so be sure to check out both bands. There are times guides available in many locations throughout Epcot, so be sure to check out when they're playing while you're in Epcot.

My very favorite entertainment in all of WDW--watching the British Invasion in England and Off Kilter in Canada, preferably with a glass of champagne in my hand!

I also love the British Invasion!!! After growing up loving the Beatles, this performance makes me feel young again!!!! My 13 yr. old daughter is soooo embarrassed when I sing along with the group, but how could I not do so??? I had an encounter with Captain Hook pirate: in the courtyard. He wanted to steal my engagment/wedding rings and was making all these gestures to indicate his intentions. I loved it but again my 13 yr old walked away as thought she didn't know me! Oh well, as they say "Youth is wasted on the young!"

If you're in the GB area, try to catch a performance of the WS Players there (a different group performs in Italy). They're hysterical!
