I know there are standard tip guidelines, but I notice that many people comment how they tend to tip WAY over the guideline.
I would LOVE to be able to overtip, but we're really watching our cash on this trip. If I tip the standard suggested amount, will the recipients feel slighted since they are used to getting so much more? Would it be considered poor manners to tip the standard amount?

is that you read a handful of posts about a topic, of one opinion or another, and kind of assume that the vast majority of cruisers share that opinion or action. Bottom line is, by tipping the recommended amount you are doing what is right, unless you get lousy serivce and by all means let your wallet and comment card do the talking. Though I think that's pretty rare.
