~The BOT Battalion~ BOTS On The Run

He's shooting footage for his new DVD; College Professors Gone Wild! :lmao::rotfl2:
It totally slipped my mind. I forgot Dave worked for a college. I guess if you work for a college a little of that college student mentality rubs off on you. he may just road trip to WDW and sleep in the car. You may be running along during the full and see Dave jump out of the woods onto the course.

Speaking of the 1/2 in January, our DD has decided not to run. :( And DS16 has not trained for a single mile yet. He is following the training plans that we have seen Howard follow once in a while. ;)

I get in my car today and see a pile of post-race paraphernalia in the back seat. I pull over what looks like a sign and it says "Who's Your Daddy?" Not sure what it meant but it had me busting up.

Hmmm....you just have to find out who was holding that sign. Nicole or one of the kids...;):rolleyes1.

:guilty:Sorry DD isn't running....um, you might wanna tell Andrew to follow a different training plan :rolleyes1:rotfl:.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:over the thong comment

Lou: congrats again on an awesome race

I'm in agreement with Philly again next year (or the PDR-- only a 1/2 but a nice Philly race) If you are looking for an NJ race there is a 1/2 in New Brunswick at Rutgers April 18th. It is an inaugural so I have no idea how the race will be but it could be fun. I'm also up for a cruise if we pick late June, don't want to pull DD from too much school.

Chester: glad to hear you now live in DC ;)

Philly was fun and all, and it is close to most of us, but I just can't get excited about doing the same marathon again. Since most of us who aren't Lou only run one fall marathon, I'd rather do a race I haven't done before.

Oh... my... goodness, I log on to give my training report - 3.25 miles in 30 min, and my legs felt great. Best they've felt in ages, and I see there's a party going on at my expense. Glad you all think it's funny... but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to ****in' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?

Lou- Yeah, the college students rub off on me sometimes. Seriously, when I come down in January I'll be leading a group of 12 students on an "alternative break" service trip to Give Kids The World. I'll be there Jan 7-17, and we'll be staying at a house off site near the Give Kids The World Village. Originally, my plan was to run Goofy, before the service trip really starts. However, Dana and the girls may come down, and I'm not sure I want to leave them in the house the whole time while I'm off running. Yeah, I don't have park tickets for the trip because I'm going to be at the Give Kids The World Village most of the time.

And for those that are wondering... I have not, nor will I ever wear a DIS Unplugged thong. Although my running shorts are commando...

Regarding the GU... I was hungry! I think Matt's just upset I didn't share.

Cam- Sorry your DD isn't going to run the 1/2, but... hmmmm... does that mean a bib is available? Hmmmmm....

Jodi- So I can't find any information about that NYC Half Marathon in March. The only thing I see on the NYRR site is "Look for more information and the lottery application on December 1." So is every race registration going to be selected by lottery?

I'm with you on this one, Matt!;) I have a hard enough time training for these things, a duplicate marathon would mean a training LR of only 10 miles or so!!:rotfl:

:lmao::thumbsup2Looooove that scene. Love that entire movie. Bruce & I were talking just the other day about the scene when they're trying to come up with the proper name for the deer hoof.:rotfl:

As far as the NYC 1/2, there is no other information other than what you found on NYRR. As far as I know, registration opens on Dec. 1 & it's not a lottery. If I find out anything more than that I'll pass it along!!:cutie:

Oooh, I take that back, apparently it is a lottery application! D-bags!

Glad you got the reference. I need to watch that movie again. It's been a long time.

Hmmmm, Dana and I were just talking about New York City in March last night. I think I could convince her to have a spring trip. I guess I'll submit an application and see what happens.

I'm glad my threatening....I mean persuading phone calls seemed to work & that Dana is warming up to the idea of a March NYC trip :rolleyes1.
OK, I have to tell you Dana's first comment though... isn't NYC cold and rainy in March? Why do you want to go there? She's a realist.
