I'm not sure if I can reference a particular website that I use all the time to reserve restaurant tables, but I'll just say it's two words that start with O and T.

I have been trying forever to get a better time for my reservation at this popular restaurant and found that it was listed on OT. What was very surprising were all the open time slots that do not show up on the Disney Dining portal. If you are trying for a reservation at The Boathouse, you may want to give OT a shot.

Most DS restaurants only give a small %age of their tables to Disney Dining. Open Table has many more.
By the way, trying to bypass DIS rules the way you did will get you sanctioned for something they do not allow. You weren't fooling anyone.

Wow! I wasn't trying to fool anyone. I was trying not to break a possible rule. We are not in first grade, to be "sanctioned" when a rule that one is unaware of is broken. I am glad that you were able to let me know that I caused a serious violation of DisBoard conduct. I, like you, have been a member here for 17 years and never have I been threatened with sanctioning. I'm sure the moderators will contact me very soon. Apologies.
