the movie is on now and I'm hidding under the cover watching this thing. Someone hold me please :grouphug: . This movie is over 45 yrs old and is still frighting people. It is a shame that movies are not made like this anymore. Maybe the bird flu made them attack? :confused3

I love that movie!!
Hitchcock was amazing.
Might have to get my collection out today and watch a few :)

When I was 10 I had 2 friends sleeping over & we were watching this movie. Scared to death. Our basement had a storm door. One girl was under the covers she was so scared. BFF & me took my bean bags from Toss Across & threw them at the back door yelling THE BIRDS ARE TRYING TO GET IN.

I was a rotten kid.

The 3 of us were just togather a few weeks ago!

I have never seen this movie and it is probably a good thing! I have 3 cockatiels and 10 parakeets and on most days I let them fly around the small bedroom their cages are in. When I walk in they fly around and then several of them land on my head. It can be quite funny but I can understand how it could freak some people out. If I sit down they like to walk all over me, especially when I am wearing a sweater and they like to pull at the threads. They also like my hair, ears and rings. And they each have their own personalities. :)

::yes::

This movie is a real classic--I love it!
I wish they would make a horror movie without all of the blood and gore and do it the way Hitchcock did---with "hiding under the covers" suspense!

I love that movie. I'm sorry I missed it.

"its the end of the world!!" :teeth:

OMG! That movie scared the bejeesus out of me!!! Another scary Hitchcock movie is Marnie!

I remember seeing that movie back when I was a kid and it scared the daylights out of me.

Alfred Hitchcock was a brilliant film maker.

Love Hitchcock!

The Birds is the most creepy. Psycho the most frightening.

Actually we are getting ready to watch some Hitchcock tonight.

OMG, I remember being terrified watching that movie. I was little, and would get under an afghan with my sister, and we would hide through most of it. Everybody thought it was funny that were were so scared. It's funny, because my sister still hides under a blanket if a movie is scarey. Thanks for the memory. I will smile at the thought the rest of the night.
