I can totally relate on the financial part of it; I did not include the health category in this month's no buy spending for myself because of all the appointments and things we have going on. We have spent over $425 this month so far (it's only the 10th...there's more coming!) on medical and that is WITH insurance!

I work for a hospital and can not go to our hospitals specialists as they do not accept our hospitals insurance plan! If that isn't totally crazy, I'm not sure what is?!

July goals:
13 No buy days (after set bills)
Grocery: $400/-$153 (My daughter/son in law will put in the same amount!
Entertainment/Eating out: $200/-$31.68
July 1: $0 (and worked on CE at home, so 5 hours overtime at work!

July 2: $153 Groceries, (including 4th of July potluck and BBQ and a crab dinner tomorrow night. LOTS of fresh fruit also! But 4 more hours OT!
July 3: $0
July 4: $0
July 5: $0
July 6: $31.68 Take out lunch (enough chinese for 2 meals)
July 7: $0 (Work tonight and tomorrow night, so be back when I can
July 8: $0
July 9: $0 (Had Dr. appt. with bad news, have to have ultrasounds, xrays and a huge amount of labs. Not looking forward to the co-pays)
July 10: $560

(We have 2 August birthdays and I got some Christmas shopping done. One birthday and about 1/2 of Christmas to go).

July 11: $0(Technically I spent $$$ today, but it was my leftover vacation $$$ from WDW last month! Thinking of this thread helped keep me on track and I brought a few hundred $$$ back for...... CHRISTMAS shopping! So since it was $0 from savings and $0 on credit, I feel it is a $0 day!!
