I'm in, hoping to do really well this month!

I am very proud of myself, for the past 2 days I've almost placed an order on ae.com for clothes (less than $25 though) and stopped myself every time I've gotten to the checkout screen. I feel like I should transfer $25 to savings.

Good luck everyone!

Gas: $200
Groceries: $300
Misc: $275
Eating Out: $150

1 - $0.81 eating out (yes, I ruined a "no spend day" for 81 cents on fries at work... which I've also given up in order to eat healthier. FAIL! :rolleyes1

I had been doing so well till I decided to come to my grandparents for 2 weeks to help them tear down wallpaper, paint and such. I left no buy June early to come. I am not spending much and am having $0 days here but I am not keeping track really. I have wayyyy too much other work to worry about. So, I will be back on July 13 and in for a set goal of 7 since it will be a short month. See you all then...I miss you guys!!!

July 2nd- No Buy Day

Oooh I've never done this before. I'd love to get in on it. We've had some major unplanned expenses the last few months and a vacation this month so I need to cut down my spending. To make it simple on myself I'll just record my no buy days and set a goal of 10 no buy days this month.

currently 1/10 no buy days

Alright I am in! Want to build up a $5000.00 emergency fund and this should help do it. I am going to commit to 8days in July.

Wahoo! Yesterday was my first no buy day!

1/12 no buy days

July 1 - $O

Today checking out Banana Republic Outlet 40% off plus additional mystery coupon. Depending on what the mystery coupon is worth & a cute brown skirt is priced this may not be a no buy day but a bargain day ;)

07-01 $9.00 sandwich for dinner. Work ran WAY later than I thought.
07-02 $__________ lunch (I woke up late & left my lunch on the counter :( )

No $pend days: 0 / 12
Added to Emergency fund: $_____.___

1- $1.25 for a pop out of vending
$19.99 ll Bean messenger bag for DD for school
2- Grocery shopping today for 4th weekend. Getting menu and shopping list together now.

I'm back in! I pretty much dropped out last month because of the chaos around my father's Memorial Service and the planning of it (not to mention the 2 trips it involved). In the end it all came together and was really nice; the siblings even managed to come together but it was quite a battle to get there. Anyway, it's done, so it's back to normal life, thank goodness!!

I'm going for 15 no-buy days. Yesterday would have been one, but then someone just had to post that darn LLBean backpack for $15. :rotfl2: And of course, since I had blown the no-buy day, I figured I might as well get a bunch of other shopping I had been holding off on done. Today may or may not be a no-buy - I've been eyeing some earrings on clearance at Target for my daughter for Christmas, and today should be jewelry markdown day so I'm hoping they'll go to 50%. If they do, I'm buying; if they don't, I'll probably make it my first no-buy.

7/1 $15 LLBean, $15 Everyday Minerals, $31 Target, $30 Myzeno.com, $3 Target

Budget for July is $1000 with 10 no spend days.

Auto $60
Eating Out/Entertainment $100
Giving $125
Groceries/Household Goods $300 / $280 left
Medical $265
Misc. $150

No spend days = 1 /10
Coupon savings = $4.50[/
-------------------------------------------
7/1 Groceries $20
7/2 $0

7/1- $1.23 at Walgreens ( Got toothpaste, denture cleaner (for DGM), Plastic Spoons, a big Bag of Reese's Peices and 3 packs of Dentyne Gum so not so bad)

7/2- If this rain keeps up today will be no buy, if not I have got to take DD somewhere lol

So we are at

Grocery- $0/300
Household- $1.23/100
Eating Out- $0/50

July 1 - $6 for ice cream for me and DD, $10 lunch Chick Fil A

July 2 - 98.45 at Walmart - that includes groceries for the week, cat stuff, paper products and toiletries. If I can keep this under $500 total for the month, that would be great!
17.68 Sonic for lunch

After a good no-buy March, April, and May, I went a little crazy in June. LL Bean (who can say no to a $139 cashmere sweater down to $15?) and American Girl sales did me in--plus a bonus trip to Disney. So, I'm back for July.

Goal 10 no-buy days
$800 spending limit

Exceptions: Any super, amazing toy sales at KMart and Lego like I hit last year. Did all my XMas shopping for the kids in July.

7/1 - $2.25 popcorn at free show

I do Xmas shopping at the end of July too- Target and KMart have their best toy sales then! So I'm sure not to have a no spend day when we do that shopping.

7-1 - $10 parking fee

7-2 $0 (my first no spend day in July!)

Tomorrow I'm grocery shopping, but we'll see how good I can do.

07-01 $9.00 sandwich for dinner. Work ran WAY later than I thought.
07-02 $11.65 lunch (actually it will be lunch and dinner - so it's really not that bad price-wise)

No $pend days: 0 / 12
Added to Emergency fund: $_____.___[/QUOTE]
