The Big Nintendo DS FAQ/Thread/Support Group (NDS, DS Lite, GBA, etc.)

You're probably the only other person on the DIS that likes Nintendo as much as me. :rotfl:

I can't wait to get my DS Lite for Christmas. :)

And a Game Boy Micro if I've been good. :p

Are there any zelda games for the DS. My DS asked santa for the Phantom Hourglass - but this does not appear to be available until 2007 even though the Nintendo website has a trailer of the game running with "2006" as its release date.

There's A Link To The Past and the Minish Cap.

They're for GBA but they work fine on the DS. :)

I just wanted to say a big "Thanks" to NED. You have been so generous with your time and advice this holiday season, and it is greatly appreciated. There are alot of children that are going to be extra happy this holiday season, because you have been so giving!

:thanks: :love1:

Aw, thanks so much guys! I'm happy to help! I had a mom that would have benefitted GREATLY from help with game info when I was growing up, so I understand how overwhelming it all can be. Questions like, "Do I need to buy batteries for a DS?" are perfectly logical and pretty important to know - and easy to answer too! I hate to see people buying things they don't need, or missing something that might really enhance the experience (like the fact that 90% of the time I think buying a guide book is a waste of time, but make exceptions for games like Animal Crossing where it really can make the game go from "good" to "awesome").

I just hope that many of the gift givers give playing games themselves a chance - the DS can be so much fun for the whole family!

Happy holidays everyone!

Indeed. :)

Nintendo has a Touch! Generations campaign with fun, easy games for people who don't usually play games. :)

The games range from Tetris to Sudoku to raising a little virtual puppy. (A 'Nintendog' ;) )
