Has anyone gone yet this year?

Are there deep fried candy bars (namely Snickers).

I have been dying to try one ever since watching a show on the Food Network.

I know locally they are having an artsy-fartsy fair (no rids) but I think you have to pay in advance to get the food & all I want is the candy since they are having some deep fried.

We are going on Tuesday.

I tried one last year for the first time. I also had been wanting to try one of these. Mind you I am a chocoholic, and love everything covered in chocolate, but the fried snickers bar was so sweet that it almost made me gag. It was really disgusting in my opinion. It was a huge let down to know that the fried Snickers I had been dreaming of did not taste the way I had hoped. Go for it. Everyone needs to experience fried chocolate at least once in their life!!!

We went Wednesday evening, bought DGD a bracelet for $20 to ride all the rides she wanted, left her with my DH, and DD and I hit the state houses. We were actually able to take time and enjoy them because it was not wall to wall people. The parade was not crowded. DD went on Monday with her DH and said it was the same. My DH wants to go tomorrow, but the thought of all those people makes me nuts. I would rather go one night next week and explore the Better Living Center.

For the poster who wanted fries Snickers bars, I saw them, but did not get one.
