It was our first time seeing WOC, we did PD for 9 PM show on 4/7. We didn't rush to the area, about 15 minutes before showtime. We were basically where Disneyland_1951's suggests to stand (plus we got to sit on the stairs for waiting time). All of the adults had great views, but my DD (3 1/2) had to be held up to see. Luckily we had 5 adults in our group and we switched off holding her throughout the show. I'm against the kid on shoulders thing, out of respect for my neighbors, but man is it easier! Funny enough when we were walking back during the 2nd show it looked like we would've seen more (all of the stuff that was at a lower level) on the bridge in the Blue section, plus we wouldn't have had to hold my DD up the whole time.
Any thoughts on Blue bridge view vs. PD section towards the back? What do you think we should try next time? Would we be able to show up 15 mins before showtime to get the Blue bridge view? Is it best to stick to PD and just get there earlier for rail viewing?
We ate at Ariel's Grotto to enjoy a nice sit down dinner, in a kid friendly atmosphere, and I decided that getting the FP for WOC was a bonus added on to our dinner. So I was definitely not disappointed with where we saw the show from or what we paid to be in that section.
Great thread!!![]()
I've seen it from the Blue bridge and from pretty close to the front of the PD section. The PD is definitely better. Not sure about the back of PD though. The Blue bridge is a very different experience overall. I didn't feel as immersed as up closer, so it gave a better view of the scope of the show. But I've also seen it from back by the "yellow fire hydrant" which gave an even better idea of the scope. Unfortunately, the bridge does fill up quickly and 15 min before will not get you a great spot.
