The best thing I ever ate @ wdw?

It's been over a decade, but I still remember how delicious the lemon sugar beavertails were. It was the best pastry dessert I've had at WDW.

God there are simply too many to mention, so I will mention a few that we specifically go back to the restaurants for time and time again:

1) Best steak I have ever had was from Yachtsman's and was a Wagyu Steak- absolutely incredible! They have since taken it off the menu. Next would be the Mushroom filet at Le Cellier, followed by the Filet at Jiko with the mac and cheese.

2) I remember that ostrich appetizer at Jiko with the sweet potato hash! Amazing! Went there 3 times that week just for that!

3) Best soup is by far the Smoky Portobello soup at AP. Followed closely by the carrot soup at Boma. I absolutely love this soup.

4) Sushi- I have to go with the Crab Cake roll followed by the Shrimp tempura roll both at Kona Cafe. Love these!

5) Best App- Wings at Kona cafe- really yummy!! Although, I love the fried cheese app at Liberty tree too.

6) Best dessert- this one is tough, but prolly the almond crusted cheesecake at Narcoosee's. But close second is the toffee cake at Liberty Tree, it is so good!

7) favorite snack is school bread at epcot, and dh likes the creme horns too.

I can't think of anything else at this moment, but I am sure I can come up with others.

the cornbread from Whispering Canyon.

Last Jan, we had dinner at Le Cellier. The fish special of the day was Gooseberry Cod with asparagus and hollandaise, and some kind of mashed potatoes.
The meal was SUBLIME. So so so excellent. Best fish dish I have ever had!

Same vacation, I had the Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie (2 times!) at Rose and Crown. It was amazing!

But, the best best best thing I had - Bubble and Squeak. YUM!

We also LOVE the Sopa Azteca at San Angel Inn. Perfection in a bowl!

There are an awful lot of favs from 2 TS places I notice. Maybe need to try those next time.

My favs from 1 TS places are

Filet M from Canada, which is now a 2 TS, so won't be going there again.

The best dessert I had was at the Grand Flordian Cafe, a sugar free berry jelly pyramid thing.

I find Disney to be pretty poor at desserts, but those pics of 2 TS restuarant desserts look yummy.

The 2 best meals I had at WDW were:

The King Salmon 2 ways at Le Cellier (sadly no longer on the menu) the Hoisin BBQ one was the better of the 2 (lower right)

and the Seared Chicken Breast at Coral Reef in 2010 (had it this year too and it wasn't quite as great but still good)

Honorable mention goes to the Gnocchi at Tony's and I have to say the best drink I had was the Pina Colava!! Yummmm! (I don't have pics of these 2)

Can't forget the gnocchi!

On the lunch menu at Tutto Italia:

And the ribs on the dinner menu at Sassagoula Floatworks:
(Better than Flame Tree, better than Cosmic Ray's, and dare I say better than many I've tried at TS restaurants too!)

Wow that gnocchi looks good.

My favorites were the Sonoma goat cheese ravioli and the California roll at california Grill and the mammoth mushroom ravioli at T-Rex.

My favourite Disneyfoods were Mickeywaffles with syrup and corn-nuggets. Never had those before and we absolutely loved them!:goodvibes

I have a couple. But no pics.

Chef Mickeys - parmesian mashed potatos and mickey shaped cheese ravoli

Whispering Canyon Cafe - the skillet

Value Food Court - mickey head waffle with strawberry sauce and whipped cream and the individual banana bread loaves

O'hanas - bread pudding

The bread pudding at O'hana and the Filet with Mushroom Risotto at Le Cellier!!!!

This might be a little bit pathetic, but... I absolutely loved the BREAD and butter (yes, yes) at Jiko. I have DREAMS about that butter.
:goodvibes

The Penne Pasta and Tiramisu (sorry about the incorrect spelling!) from Tutto Italia in Italy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best thing I ever ate at disney would be the coconut almond chicken at Kona. It is so moist and it comes with this delicious sweet salad with pineapple and strawberries. Sooo good.
