I found out an American high school diploma is equal to 5 GCSEs. That's not good... Especially since we take our GCSEs at 16, and you guys leave school at 18, when we've finished our A Levels. Also, I got 10 GCSEs overall...

so we get double the qualifications and we're 2 years younger? and most people get 3-4 a-levels on top of that? woah.

Really?!? I went to a grammar school and the earliest GCSE I took was Citizenship in yr 10.

lol, well my friend is in year 9, and they are doing GCSE work in classes, and they have already taken their geography GCSE, and they have to have chosen their options by march

Dear Prudence...
Greet the brand new daaaay,
The sun is up,
The sky is blue,
It's beautiful,
And so are you,
Dear Prudence,
Won't you come out to plaaaay...

John Lennon wrote that when he went on a retreat, and there was a girl called Prudence, who used to lock herself in her room all day, and meditate all day and all night, and wouldnt eat anything, and everyone was really worried about her, so they asked john to write a song for her...

and it worked! :D

thanks :]

umm, i think its this experiment thing she said? i think its just a trial thing, and if it works, like, they get better results taking the GCSEs in year 9 than year 10, it will probably become a permenant thing
