The BEST Motivation - Disney! ~ 2015!

We did fine over Halloween. Our community had a party and grilled hot dogs and sausage with sides and lots of candy. It was tough, but hubby and I resisted.

We got a scale last week. Decided we are going to weigh in every Monday. I'm down 5 lbs since last week and hubby is down 4 lbs. not too shabby.

This is our last week on the vegetarian diet. We're still planning on continuing mostly vegetarian...but hubby wants to do meat twice or three times a week. I can definitely do that for him since he's been so good at this 3 week diet. Hopefully he can continue the exercise and stay motivated to lose 2 lbs a week.

Got on the scale this morning and I am now down a total of 13/40 pounds :woohoo:

Great job, guys! I weigh in on Wednesdays, and today I was the exact same weight as last Wednesday. At least I didn't gain. :confused3

At least I didn't gain. :confused3

Heck yeah! That's a win! There will always be plateaus you have to overcome. Don't let it phase you. Keep movin' on. :-). And for us women, I'm sure there will be weeks in particular where we gain....water weight. Lol!

Finished our 21 day vegetarian diet today. Hubby wanted to celebrate by getting wings for dinner. We got fried pickles for an appetizer and the things were so greasy we didn't even finish them. They haven't changed, but our bodies have. And our bodies were saying NO!!!! Lol. Sitting here waiting on the wings. I bet we won't finish off the 8 wings we ordered.

I had a rough weekend, yesterday I got back on the horse and did great...Friday and Saturday were another thing all together. Friday would have been ok if Saturday had not been so bad. On Friday I had a ton of errands to run and had a headache so I stopped at Tim Horton's and got an iced capp with milk..no donuts or anything else so that just meant I needed to be fairly good the rest of the day. Then I stopped at JoAnn's and saw the Lindt Truffles (they are a weakness) and was going to buy one for me and the three kids that were with me, but the bag was cheaper...so I bought a bag and shared them four ways...still not awful but not great either. Then it was time to make dinner and DH wanted taco salad. That put me over my calories by about 250 so still under my maintain by 250. So that alone would have been ok, but it was Saturday that was the bad day. I made manicotti and well long story short I ate so much that I felt like I was going to pop...I haven't felt like that in months. So although I am very ashamed of myself I did have a victory. Yesterday when I was looking back on it and I would normally just say oh well it's ruined now, I thought and I said I am getting back to it today, not tomorrow, not in a few hours but right now and I did. So I chalk it up to a bump in the road that I need to overcome.

Please don't feel ashamed of yourself. Just take it day by day. :goodvibes

I haven't been doing well lately, either -- I just have NO willpower these days -- and I'm waiting for something to motivate me again.

Well Sunday on I have done very well, so that is a plus. It just seems like I had lost all willpower over the weekend. The strange thing is usually I can do fine at home, it is work that gets me. In fact we have a required dessert party on the 21st that I am dreading and everyone watches you and pesters you to eat...I have already started telling myself no matter what is there I will have one and no more. We all have to bring something so I am actually thinking of doing a cake with applesauce (instead of the oil) and a light frosting so I can have something I know is at least a little ok...

Boooo! Weighed in on Monday. Up 3 lbs. hubby did well though...only up 1 lb. That was the end of our first week back on meat and other stuff we had kicked out of our diet. I did eat Mexican food twice that week....I know that's what did it. That's my weakness! Will weigh in again this next Monday and hope that I didn't gain again. Worked out everyday this week. We'll see how it goes.

How are all of you doing? This next week will be tough since it's thanksgiving. Hope you all have a great holiday!

I am now down 2 more pounds for a total of 16/40!!

I am doing my weigh in early this week because of the holidays and I will not be on here since family time is #1 on my list. Also because last week at weigh in time I had lost 0 so...

Oh and I got a Jawbone Up24 a week or so ago and although it has shown me that my steps are lacking I am not sure how useful it will be. I am going to give it some more time and see maybe it will end up growing on me.

Hubby lost the pound this week that he gained last week...so I'm super proud of him. I didn't gain or lose, so I'll take it after gaining 3 last week. Have a great thanksgiving everyone!

Well how was everyone's Thanksgiving?

Any good Black Friday deals that anyone scored?

Well, I lost a pound and hubby lost 2 lbs over thanksgiving...woohoo!

As far as Black Friday deals.....I was waiting on the 10% off target gift cards deal. Scored $600 in target gift cards for $540 that I now can use to buy Disney gift cards on Target's website for an extra 5% savings. Yay!
