The best lunch at DHS is...

Brown Derby is very good but expensive. Otherwise most other table service and counter service restaurants are mediocre to poor. Used to love Staring Rolls that had excellent sandwiches but it has closed.

Many like Prime Time or Sci-Fi for lunch but I've not tried them.

Signature: well only one choice and often considered one of the best sig at wdw is the Brown Durbey

Ts: not sure what best is. Lots of different styled and themed experience.

Qs: backlot express. I like their food, the complimentary soda refill station, the theming is nice, it’s air conditioned (with some outdoor seating too) and there is the Star Wars Jedi academy to provide some entertainment. I think rizzos and abc food is abysmal. The outdoor eating including Rosie’s etc down sunset Blvd is ok on food but there is no air conditioning and you often need to wait in different lines for families with varied tastes. If it’s a nice day it’s alright but my go to is always backlot express.

I like to do a later lunch at Sci-Fi Dine Inn. It's a break from the heat indoors with really fun movie clips. I also like Backlot Express and ABC Commissary.

I am jonesing for a bowl of the corn bisque @ BD. I'm sure there are other dishes members of the family want but the corn soup is alllllllll about me;).

We've a lunch ADR for our summer trip which makes me a veddy happy person.

Our's is Mama Melrose. We start with the rolls and split a salad. Then depending on how hungry we are & diner plans 1 or 2 flatbread pizza and finish up with a dessert to share.

If my DW and I are actually in DHS for lunch we typically hit up Backlot Express. Nothing extraordinary, but they have options for the both of us.

Really hoping that with the addition of Toy Story & Star Wars that the QS/TS experiences are enhanced at DHS. Being so close walking distance wise to Epcot & Boardwalk I would almost rather walk to those areas for a quality meal.

I’ve never had the opportunity to dine at The Brown Derby because of the cost, but I would vote for that one just based off of what I know about it.

For QS, I’ve only had Rosie’s All-American Cafe and I would not recommend going there.

For TS, we did Sci-Fi Dine-In. It’s really good but pretty pricey! The spinach artichoke dip (appetizer) and cucumber salad (side) are out of this world!

HBD Lounge. I tried it last summer and fell in love! Great food, wonderful service, I just wish it was inside.

50s Prime Time. Every. Single. Trip. We do a somewhat late lunch and then just snack until we leave. We probably should try something else, but we just love 50s too much.
