The next morning I am feeling much better, and we are almost to Nassau. We grab an early breakfast of coffee and pastries and wander the ship a bit before going back to the room to shower. After we are ready for the day, we head to Beach Blanket Buffet for a real breakfast. It was so yummy and Kevin had an awesome omelet!

Disembarking the ship was a breeze. I wasn’t crazy about going to Nassau, I had heard that it wasn’t a great place. On top of that, I still wasn’t feeling 100%, but we went anyway. We walked around for a bit, stopping at the Hard Rock Café for our collector’s glasses. We pop into a few more stores before heading back to the ship. Of course Kevin had to grab some pictures before getting back on board.

For lunch we went to Tritons, which was amazing!! I had the roasted chicken with a banana smoothie (don’t forget the rum!) and Kevin got the seafood linguini. We also split the mushroom risotto, which was to die for!! After lunch we were a bit bored and just wandered the ship. We ended up in the Promenade Lounge (the first of many stops here). It was empty so we played a game of Yahtzee. Near the end of our game, we saw that the lounge was filling up, so we figured there must be something planned that’s starting soon. Turned out to be prize BINGO. It was free so we played, but didn’t win anything. Everyone was given one complimentary BINGO card for the cash bingo later today.

We had missed dinner at Palo, but Kevin had made reservations for a wine tasting at 3pm before we visited Nassau. It was a lot of fun and I would highly recommend it! I even found a new wine that I like and got to taste Disney’s famous Fairy Tale Cuvee champagne. Cash BINGO was right before dinner and we ended up buying game cards for all five games. And guess what?? WE WON!! That’s right, 3 short of a c-note!! After BINGO, we had to run up and get ready for the show.

Tonight was the Golden Mickey’s. We arrived to the Walt Disney Theater a little early and grabbed some prime seats. At about 6:30 p.m. a cast member comes out to say they were having some technical problems, but it should be fixed soon. She stalled for almost an hour before the entertainment director officially announced that the show would be rescheduled for tomorrow morning at 9:45 a.m. So we headed off to the promenade lounge before dinner. We grabbed some drinks (Kahula and Cream) and listened to some live music before heading to Tritons again for dinner.

We arrived at Tritons to find some of our tablemates were already there. Forgive me, I am horrible with names but I do know their daughters name was Victoria J I had taken Dramamine before the show, but the sea was kind of rocky again tonight and I wasn’t feeling great. The other family showed up (sorry I don’t remember your wife’s name!! Ken and Michael) Kevin really enjoyed his dinner and tried both lamb and duck. I ordered the pasta, thinking it would be light. It was really good, but I didn’t finish it. Tritons had wonderful desserts though! Kevin had a Grand Marnier Soufflé and I had crème bruleè.

After dinner we went to the Cadillac Lounge to listen to the piano player. We didn’t stay long as the rocking of the boat was making me very dizzy. We called it an early night and went back to the room. Tonight was the Pirate Party and we were bummed that we would miss it (even though it was raining). We had really wanted to see the fireworks. We were so excited though to find Pirate gold when we got back to our room and a parrot (see pictures!)
