I know our regular listeners know about our Christmas tradition...Candlelight Processional Dinner package on Christmas Eve.
This year was tough and even though we thought of scrapping our usual plans this Christmas we decided to go ahead with them. Boy am I glad we did!!
We had a fantastic meal at Chefs d' France and the Candlelight Processional was beautiful and wonderful as usual. Just when we started to feel sad for our missing friends this year Santa sent us a present.
A pooh-sized gentleman sat next to Kevin's Dad at Candlelight and took his shirt off!!! No fuss, no muss - he just sat down, took off his shirt and leaned back to enjoy the show!!
Now, those of you who have met us know that we are big boys and would never make fun of anyone's size or body shape, but we would also not remove our shirts at the 8:15PM Candlelight Processional - much less anywhere else in public.
I was hysterical. I made Kevin take a picture of the man because I couldn't beleive it.
Eventually a Disney CM came over and told him he had to put his shirt on, and he did, he put it on over his neck and let it drap on his chest. Of course this wasn't what the CM meant and he was eventually made to put his shirt on completely.
When people ask me if I believe in Santa Claus I also say yes without hesitation because throughout the year I always get unexpected gifts - and this was one of them.....
Edited to add:
OK - I am reluctant to add the picture because I don't want people to think I am making fun of the man - just the unusual and funny situation. I photo-shopped out his face.
The guy in the hat leaning back is Kevin's dad. We put him in a wheelchair last night because he hasn't been walking well (especially since his fall when we were out in Vegas). Kevin's Mom and Dad are side-by-side in wheelchairs and the man is sitting on the bench next to Kevin's Dad in the handicap seating section.
