The best board around!

Thanks DISboards for the best one around! I love to search for as much info as I can, so I check out any forum that I see. NO ONE has anything close to this one! On most of them, it seems like it is days before there are new posts.

And of course, I love the fact that there is so much support for the others on the board.

This is the best board around... I've checked out others, haven't registered on them, because, quite frankly, they don't seem to have as much info or personal contact as we do here. And you are right, it's days before there are any new posts, whereas here, it's minutes!!

and not to mention Rae is back!! yahoo

I've learned so much here, and even though I haven't even gone on my first ever cruise (hopefully more to come), that I know I can actually help answer questions or at least point the "newer" person in the right direction.

The DIS is the absolute best. I don't even remember how long I've been here... sometime before the Great Board Crash of '99 is all I remember. And every single day, I learn something new about DCL or WDW, and I meet some of the most amazing, sweet people in the whole world. It's the best place in cyber-space.

And this board is great because I don't feel like I am the ONLY one crazy about the Disney Cruise.

Recently, I had a friend finally go on a Disney Cruise after listening to me talk about it for 3 years. Now SHE and her husband are hooked and planning their next cruise and they have about 3 families ready to book their first one!!!

It is an addicting passion, and I love having others to share in the 'joy' of cruising with Disney!

I agree with Jeanny 100%. I also have checked in on a few other boards to see what they were like. I started a new thread on one board that I had joined. I signed on a newbie last Saturday. I had one response all week. Won't be going back there.

All I can say is, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home!!!" right Rae???

My DW received her Castaway Club card, the only one of the six of us that cruised in August that received a CC card, anyhow, we also received four cards to pass along to our friends who will receive a free DCL video, all four of our friends said they were going to mail their cards in. I think they are getting tired of us talking about our cruise already, and want to check it out for themselves!!!

For those who have received CC cards, do you normally get one per family, or does each person get their own card and number???

We got our Castaway Club card after our first cruise in 1989. Only got one card for the family. But DD & I have both called and it's no problem.

Hi Andy!
I had to call to receive ours, and it came 9 months after our first cruise. I only received one for our family. I don't know if this is normal or not??
