The best birthday present!!!

There are so many things I have wanted to get done around my house well today several of those things ARE getting done. We went out this morning and got all the stuff to replace the drop ceiling in the kitchen, the paint for the kitchen and dining room and the paint for the old cabinets in the kitchen. Dh has been reworking the kitchen and soon we will be able to start painting in there. Right now he is working on the ceiling and it really looks WONDERFUL. There has been no complaining, no crankiness, he is just doing the work for me.

This was the BEST birthday present I could have asked for!!!

Dan you are sooooooo right. He really is a good guy. I am very very lucky and have told him how much I love my present all day long and how much I appreciate the hard work he is putting into all of this. The ceiling is finished now and looks WONDERFUL!!!

What a great guy! BTW....we share a birthday!

My DFiance asked me at 5:30 this morning if I was awake (I had to get up for work anyway). I think I made a noise, but I most certainly was not awake. He sang Happy Birthday to me while jumping like a little kid up and down on the bed. What a nut. He's lucky he didn't hit his head on the ceiling! I had to work today. During my lunch break he came walking in with a Mickey Mouse cake. It had a picture of Mickey waving on it. On one side of the picture it said "Happy Birthday" and on the other side it said "I'll see you in 2 weeks!". It was so cute. I wish we had taken a picture of it. He gets more excited about my birthdays than I do, that's for sure!
