Whats the best restaurant with the coolest / most fun / interesting atmosphere, with out taking away from the quality of food? I am alrady planning on making reservations for Coral Reef and California Grill.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

We really liked Boma, but AKL is unique so either Boma or Jiko would be great.

Chef Mickey's is chaotic: high glass ceiling, lots of kids, monorail rolling by overhead, singing, dancing, napkin waving made it a lot for fun for our family, but not a quiet meal by any stretch. It is now a permanent part of our trip plan.

Thanks for the quick response! Forgot to mention, we are going to Chef Mickeys for Breakfast. Im just looking for something with a fun / entertaining atmosphere. Thanks! :worship:

Many folks might suggest Whispering Canyon or Ohana.
But not me:)
I don't care for the 'entertainment" at each, but many people describe both spots as fun and interesting.
Raglan Road is also fun and interesting.

Sci-fi has a unique, fun atmosphere. We went for an early lunch in Oct. & the burgers were the best I've had in a very long time. I'm not sure we'd go there for dinner, but we'll definitely be returning for lunch. (We eat 2 TS meals a day, with our big meal being dinner.)

The atmosphere at a front row table along the waterway at San Angel Inn at the Mexico pavilion is very impressive. You just sit there and soak up the atmosphere.

we are returning to some favorites this fall
whispering canyon, the teen like it
san angle inn in mexico, the hubby loved it
kona's, all of us liked it

we wont likely return to ohana's though any time soon

Jiko is nice, it has the wall that changes colours. Gosh, there really are quite a few, many of which have already been mentioned.

My family likes Sci-Fi for lunch and 'Ohana for dinner.

Thank You all for your quick responses! You have given me a wide variety, seems that there will just be too many for just one trip!

Beirgarten
50's Prime Time
Coral Reef
Whispering Canyon
Ohana

Planet Hollywood in Downtown Dis is fun too. While you eat a DJ anounced through the whole restaraunt and also outside to the crowd waiting. As the DJ was speaking and a camera was panning the crowd my 6yr. old stood up and started dancing. The camera stayed on him for a bit and he was on the big screen. He got to ham it up for the crowd so he liked that.

I've been so many times I've lost count & still haven't eaten at all WDW restaurants. I finally made a list & we're going to make a concerted effort to visit the restaurants we have left. (We have some we keep repeating.) This is just another excuse for you to return. :teeth:
