The Adventures of Gulliver and The Arabian Knights were great cartoons.

I think they also had a Huck Finn show that was had live action and live animation like Mary Poppins. I remember having a crush on the girl that played Becky.

"That Mississippi she is a mystery...." (OK that's all I can remember from the theme of the Huckleberry Finn Show). But it was a cool show, and yeah, the girl who played Becky was cute.

Wow! Finally somebody who remembers the Banana Splits!! I loved that show - but no one my age that I know remembers them!

I'm shaking my head while I read this thread because I don't remember them (perhaps a tiny bit before my time?) but my hubby does. He has the theme song as his ringtone on his cell phone. It's actually highly embarrassing when someone calls him and we're out. He even got a phone call while we were out on one of the fishing excursions at Disney. The person that took us out was cracking up.

I remember this show!!! I use to watch it in the morning while I ate my breakfast before going to school. I think Magilla Gorilla came on after that.
